Seller phoned me about feedback i left
burtons
I left a seller a negative feedback and i get a email for feedback revision and the seller was willing to give me a refund, so as i didn't want a refund and i thought it was a bit of a cheek as the seller didn't do anything when i contacted them i went and left negative feedback for the other item i bought from them. So now i get a phone call and when i answer it's the seller, so i couldn't really hear him but he said he was going to give me a full refund on the items and would i think about removing the feedback, he then goes on that he will look after me if i buy from him again, so i told him i will think about it and ended the call. I then get home and check my emails and the seller have given me a refund but i also got a email from him saying hi why are u leaving unnessesary negative feedback when i have offered u a full refund. So i was wondering what to do as i know i will be on his bbl if i remove the feedback but that don't matter as i don't want to buy from him again.

Leave it if it was justified. The time for a seller to play ball is before FB not after.0

What he is offering is feedback extortion and is against ebays rules. If you have the email or message where he has offered you a refund if you remove the feedback then Ebay will want this if you contact them. If you feel the feedback warranted then leave it and still contact ebay.Lifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0

How is it extortion? Ask for a dictionary next birthday.0

Why did you leave negative feedback and why did the seller feel the need to offer a full refund when you don't want one?0

If you strongly disagree with their motives send you refund back to them, you did state "I didn't want a refund"
Contact Ebay if they start to harass you anymore, it is your right to leave whatever feedback you think was appropriate.

I left negative feedback because the seller sent my items out 2nd class and not first class, so i contacted the seller to see why and they said the listings need to be ammended, so as the seller relisted there items and didn't ammend there listings i left negative feedback. So i guess the seller is only selling for feedback.emmaanddave wrote: »Why did you leave negative feedback and why did the seller feel the need to offer a full refund when you don't want one?0 -

you left negative because you got second class instead of first class? 1. i hope it wasnt free postage and 2. i hope you never buy from me!
maybe a neutral at most but a negative!0 -
I think the seller should get a positive, he's done all he can to accomodate you, I think you're being a bit harsh there.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Buyer contacted seller, there's a whole other thread on it, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3228270
seller had time to put it right, before FB was left.0 -
op, I think you were correct to leave negative feedback as the seller is obviously trying to deceive buyers.
Postage is not free, it is paid for whether its part of the price or is listed separately. If the seller is advertising the first class postage, and buyers are paying extra because of that, then they should expect that service
As the seller said it was a mistake, but has continued to claim they despatch first class, they are dishonest and the negative should be left to warn other buyers.0
