Seller phoned me about feedback i left

He probably changed his mind when he got a neg from a pedantic buyer.

Which dictionary defines pedantic as someone who only wants the service that they paid for?
It might only be 10p or 20p, but I bet if ebay started charging an extra 10p on each listing there would soon be complaints from people on here.

Update. I sent the seller the reason why i left the negative feedback when i received the email asking why are u leaving unnessesary negative feedback when i have offered u a full refund. I then get a reply saying that the postage has been ammended i have refunded u full for both items so they dont cost u anything check your paypal refunds have been made please can u revise feedback cheers mate much appreciated. So i have checked the listing of the 2 items and he has now changed the items to second class so i looked at his other items and he has not changed them from 1st to second class so i was wondering why he hasn't changed them as i did get a email from him saying the listings need to be ammended the prices of first class have gone up and fees are also rediculous after postage and paypal and ebay fees its working out too much to send first class cheers. Since this message the seller have sent me 2 more emails asking to remove the feedback and i have had 2 missed calls on my phone which i don't know if they are from the seller but i guess they are, i also had a phone call while i was in work and my girlfriend answered it and he asked her to ask me to remove my feedback. So as i'm fedup i contacted ebay live chat to see what i can do if i leave the feedback and i keep getting phone calls and i was told If the situation is serious enough, you may decide to contact your local police, we'd be happy to help with the investigation if needed. If i get one more phone call or email today i will send the seller a message to say i'm leaving the feedback as you keep harassing me, would it also be wise to follow up my feedback by saying the seller was harassing me.

I don't use ebay very much so don't know the ins and outs but what I do know is that you sound like an absolute nightmare of a person to deal with for anything. The quy makes a mistake. You tell him your not happy. He deals with his mistake and offers you compensation to the full value. You still are not happy. I mean do the guy a favour, he has bent over backwards for you.

I just hope that I never come across you. Ever.

So he changed the 2 Items you got to second class which you know he sends second class. But he has not changed the postage on his other items, however, you dont know how he is posting these other items? Are you just guessing he does not send his other items first class or are you just guessing?

The seller didn't deal with the mistake when i told him so thats why i left a negative feedback, so once i left the feedback he decided to give me a refund and chaged his listings, so if the seller had dealt with the problem when i told him about the problem i would have removed the feedback.

It's such a pity that this seller does not know how to deal with buyers at all. Maybe he's young and inexperienced, but his behaviour is going to backfire.
He did the right thing, by refunding and changing the listing (unless I missed something we don't really know if he is sending the other items first of second, as his comments may only be about the items the OP purchased, not all his listings?).
I would have accepted to revise at that stage, but then the seller must have panicked and bombarded the OP with calls. If it was me I would not agree to revise now.

I don't think he'll last long if he doesn't learn quickly.

I am at an absolute loss as to why everyone thinks the seller is making extra money on the postage?

It was FREE the OP didn't pay anything for postage so wasn't 'overcharged' so how is the seller conning all these people and making extra money from a FREE service to the buyer that will eat into the sellers profits?

I might just be having a dim moment but can someone please explain this to me?

It isn't free though, it's inclusive, ebay opt to class it as free. The other sellers of the item, were offering "free" p&p, charging less & sending it 2nd class. The Op chose this specific seller, paid more & expected the promised 1st class postage.

The OP doesn't need to guess as by leaving feedback on their own experience other buyers can check for themselves. Isn't this the purpose of feedback.
