Yep - the seller is clearly a bad apple. Gives a full refund and lets the unhappy buyer keep the goods. Steer well clear. We don't want freebies.

Leaving negative for sending 2nd class instead of 1st?!? Crikey! Let me know your user ID for ebay so I can block you!

From where I stand (as 99.9% a buyer), the seller has been really generous. If you're not willing to remove your feedback, then return the refund.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

So you approve of the seller doing this on every listing, earning extra money by being dishonest.

I'm shocked at the way people are supporting the seller.
Perhaps I should list every item with next day special delivery and then post 2nd class, an extra £5 profit on every listing would be handy

And then do a refund on those items without asking for a return?
I'm not particularly supporting the seller, just balking at some of the shock horror posts. Plus I think the OP is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

    I fully support the op.
Any seller that scams every customer by charging for first class then sending second class should get negative feedback.
If I buy something, and I pay for first class, if may be because I need it sent to me quickly, not so a seller can pocket the difference, and I get it a week later.
Congratulations to the op for not being bought off, and it's a shame that all the other sellers supporting this are still trading on ebay.

Hopefully, it'll be the start of all the other buyers who have been wondering what to do to start leaving the same sort of feedback, and the floodgates will be opended.

burtons , sorry but you are a nasty piece of work and I hope you never bid on my items.
Ebay buyers like you are pathetic , people make mistakes all the time, surely this is a tiny profit he made if any at all. I just can`t belive you would give negative for this, and the seller sounds so nice too.

What hapened to people who used to buy stuff on Ebay 6 years ago, they were the backbone of some good comunity there, these days everyone wants everything for free and still moans about it. ( I did read that you didn`t ask for a refund btw.)
Sorry have to have a rant.

Good grief, I do not miss selling on eBay anymore and worrying about feedback.

Would you care to enlighten us as to what it is you sold and how much difference the postage price was - pennies or pounds?

Does stuff like this actually matter, clearly you are the only one who is bothered as no-one else has left a neg, I hope he has you on his BBL now though.

If you want something fast then the only guaranteed service is Special Delivery or next day courier. Why did you not choose a seller offering this service? Although it says 1st class this cannot be guarenteed can it? And dispatch could be a few days whereas someone sending 2nd class might send it that same day so you'd get that one quicker.

If this is all you have to worry about I'd like to swap places with you please.

    "everyone wants everything for free"

If that's what a seller thinks of a buyer that paid for first class, but didn't get it, surely that's the seller getting something for free- the difference in cost.

Some of the sellers on here must give appalling service if that's what they think is acceptable.

I bet you'd be back in Tesco's like a shot, whinging on if you buy half a dozen eggs, and there's only five in the box.
You'd want the "free" one then.
