Didn't someone say as soon as they debit money they have to honour the whole order? It seems a bit of a scam to me to get us to buy other stuff by offering the incentive of this "misprice".

I have just received my order and no bubble bath - simply the note shoved in the box.

Having charged my card and not giving me any prior advice of alteration to the order, I would suggest that Avon have acted incorrectly.

Anyway, I have sent this e-mail to them:

Re:the cancellation of my bubble bath.

I draw you to the fact that having charged my card, you were liable to send out the WHOLE ORDER. You failed to advise me prior to despatch & simply shoving a note in the box for me to discover upon delivery is quite simply not acceptable.

I am fully aware that it was an error on your part, however by charging my card without advising me of the alteration to the order, you entered into a contract to supply all the items on the order that the payment related to.

Therefore I look forward to you correcting this by sending me the free bubble baths.

I await your response before referring this to the relevant trading standards department.

If this is sorted and nobody gets a decent response from Avon regarding the security issues I will go to watchdog, I would give them till Monday.. 1 week is more than enough to get a serious problem sorted out!
