Of course I've checked askmid.com and it's not insured. It was taxed a couple of months ago so obviously the insurance has ran out/cancelled since then. *rolleyes*

Who do you report uninsured cars to? There is one parked down my street on a corner. It hasn't moved for weeks. It belongs to someone down my street and it is often left unmoved for weeks/months on end. It was left unmoved further along the street not so long ago with no tax until one of the neighbours threatened to report it to the DVLA when it was blocking his access. Which the owner of the car promptly re-taxed.

Of course I've checked askmid.com and it's not insured. It was taxed a couple of months ago so obviously the insurance has ran out/cancelled since then. *rolleyes*

    Make up your mind.

End of April not really that long ago is it.

Happens too often on here where people don't read the post properly but pick at bits instead.

Why would I make a post about an uninsured car without checking if it is insured or not!

Have you actually read many posts on here, too many people come on with stupid statements without actually checking the facts. Its not our fault if you came on sounding like a curtain twitcher. If you had made it clear from your first post that you had the facts and you had checked it was uninsured there would have been no assumptions!!!
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

Why do I need to say I checked the facts when I obviously have wise it would have been a non post.

You can check where to report it as well then.

OMG because the first piece of advice would be to check the facts, reporting a car for no insurance just because you assume its not is a waste of time.

Here you go, here is the advice you want HERE,

So you didn't get caught.........this time. A statement made by most criminals but they all get caught at one time or another!!!

I would like to think the police/DVLA would have better things to do then bother with me. Im insured, taxed & motd... the only difference is im also SORN because of the new rules.

Oh well... no other option available at the moment. Ill just have to see what happens next time im out... & see what happens if im ever stopped.

Im hopeing It will be a while before I need to use it again so there may be other options available by then but at the moment I cant see any other option other than what im doing....

Ironic though of the day... Im forced into breaking (more like bending) the law by a new rule that was introduced to cut down on people breaking the law. :(

Anyone else confused about this??? Makes no sense to me!

I did check the facts. It has shown as uninsured on askmid for at least 48 hours now. I was wanting to know if there was anyway to report it other that phoning the police. Like how you can report untaxed vehicles online.

And your funny Google link doesn't really give an answer. It just brings up a page of people asking the same thing. I already tried that. *wink*

Is it causing a problem, haven't you got anything else to do ?
