Good idea re blog.
How about just doing either spin or gym induction. If you had to choose I would say induction - only learning basics and no need to be too strenuous. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Spin looks slightly scary but fun.. when I went to the gym at work for a couple of months last summer (before all the noisy students came back
) there were sometimes spin classes on at the same time and I used to watch in awe
Is it worth going along and trying it, if you feel really tired you can always say you're ill and sneak off in the middle

Sadly Squizz I've done spin classes there before so I know exactly what I'm in for :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Once I'm there I'll be fine (well, I'll be willing to stick it out, I'm not sure I'll be 'fine' :rotfl:)0

I did enjoy it actually
I don't think there's ever been a time when exercise has made me feel *worse* (tired, exhausted and achey perhaps, but always *good* :rotfl:)
Came home in a great mood, even though I got soaked walking back up the big hill. Just made a FAB risotto too, and tasty lunch for tomorrow, and put a load of washing on. Just about to change the sheets then hop in the bath :T :T
Gosh, look how productive I've been! I should exercise more often!0 -
Its true, when you exercise appropriately, its brilliant :j :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Is it possible, or even likely, that my washing machine, on exactly the same cycle, takes a different amount of time every time I use it?! :rotfl: I had in my head it takes an hour and a half (ages, I know, but it's about as old as I am :rotfl:). I put it on the other day (only ever use the one cycle!), and it only took an hour. Put it on this evening, and the bloody thing's still not finished, and I'm sure I put it on at 8pm :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Got a mind of its own that thing!
That's my excuse for not doing washing very often - can't guarantee when it'll be finished :rotfl:
(speaking of which, how can I possibly have done THREE loads of washing in the last couple of days (absolutely UNHEARD of in this house I tell you - we generally manage one a week at the most :rotfl:) and the washing basket is STILL full?! Yesterday I even washed most of the white things that sit at the bottom for months at a time :rotfl: I've just changed the sheets again, but I had to squash them in so they weren't spilling out over the top
Can someone with more washing experience tell me - am I ever likely to get to the bottom??
(not that I care that much, I'm just running out of enthusiasm for other chores while I'm waiting for this washing to finish so I can hang it up before getting in the bath - hence all the pondering about washing... :rotfl:0 -

That is a lot of pondering. I share your wonderment at the different timescales that the washing machine takes. I swear mine dawdles sometimes.
I always find that exercise gives me loads of energy to get on and do things. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Sounds like the spin did you good
Washing.. not a clue, sure our machine does the same thing, I reckon sometimes they just feel like a little rest.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
