Erm .... mine has a "quick" button - cuts about 10 - 15 mins off the time :o embarrassed to have a new one, but the old one at the old house was so bad, I had to wash everything twice to get rid of the soap, and even then it didn't spin :o:o:o

  • Eventually you'll find the bottom of the basket, only to find washing elsewhere

At the end of the world, after any disaster, there will be cockroaches, tax men and laundry to contend with

Glad the class was good - our machine has a handy digital clock on it which counts down, but it often lies, just for kicks I think.

    Have a great day :)

    Right then...

FINALLY managed to get round to September's budgetry jugglings... Couldn't face it before cos I knew I'd pinched bits from all over the place while on holiday and it was all really complicated :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, patchwork fund not increased quite as much as usual this month, but still going up :D Very jolly indeed! :T:T :T

*slight* panic here  just realised we don't have approval for something we *should* have approval for and need to start imminently  I DID apply for it (in May!) but didn't realise I hadn't heard (I applied for the same approval for something else at the same time, and got embroiled in a big conversation about that and forgot about this...). I know it's not technically my fault - but I should have chased it well before now, and just didn't realise - aarrrrgggghhh! (and now the woman is on holiday til the end of next week, and apparently NOBODY else knows anything about it...

Office mate is in another meeting, and boss isn't here for the rest of the day, so I'm panicking all on my lonesome, even though I know I've now done all I can.... :o

Is anyone putting the kettle on?! Or does anyone have any chocolate?? Please??@???

Don't panic! Like you say you've done all you can, it'll get sorted *makes cuppa* *hands over chocolate*

  • I have brewed up. Have a quick cuppa and breathe - I am sure there will be a way round it.

    Third cuppa coming up!
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Thanks :D A roll of choccos and a hot chocolate sorted me out, and a nice chat with cheery office mate who made it all seem reasonable :) Yes we will indeed find a way round it :) Thank you for your emergency tea though :p
