And breathe........
You have chased the approval now and you know you have done everything you know you can to resolve it.
Me thinks you are only panicking because you didn't have anyone to share it with. But you have shared it with us so it will be fine:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Quite right Maty
I do indeed panic more when I'm on my own - absolutely fine when I'm with someone else!
Anyway, you'll never guess where I've been - to the GYM!   Not even entirely sure what one does in such places :rotfl: couldn't identify machines similar to the ones the nice man showed me in the induction area on Monday :rotfl: Managed half an hour of faintly sweaty huffing and puffing, then walked home the long way round to get milk - which meant more than half an hour up hill walking in the dark, in shorts :rotfl: :rotfl:
Think I deserve a medal, as well as a bath
Still, very MSE though - I'm trying to get as much use out of my month long membership as possible!0 -
Well done for going to the gym, some of those machines are mystifiying! You are really getting stuck into this exercise stuff aren't youDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Lobs over a medal
Hope you have a great day today very mse getting so much out of the gym then walking home!
I'm going to attempt bodybalance tomorrow, I have to go into town anyway and there are two morning classes a week, maybe I can work them into my 'in town' routine? Thank you for making me think OK, off your stripey bum....
Hey up RedTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

The panic sounded scary! Good for you for shouting out for tea and chocolate and requisite paperwork
The gym sounds ... admirable! Very impressed2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks lovely folk
I do feel a bit daft with the gym when I've got a perfectly good field up the road to run round, but sometimes you just have to go with whatever helps - sometimes I need a helping hand to get over the first hurdle into being pretty active again, and this appears to be it :T :T Off for a run with Mr Daffs tonight (in the great outdoors) - obviously he'll far outstrip me, but it'll be a bit of exercise for us both
Did an hour's work for old boss (at 6.45am ) - so that's a bit of cash for the patchwork fund :T :T
Working at home today so no train farebut meeting a friend for a quick cuppa later, and having a haircut this evening, which will more than offset that!
Right, have got tea, must concentrate...0 -
6.45am :eek::eek::eek:
Admirable once again :j:j:j I'm very impressed you were alert enough to work at 6.45!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I'm not sure I was that awake :rotfl: :rotfl: This is the disabled woman I used to work for, so just a matter of helping her out of bed and shower/dressed etc - she needs to leave for work herself at 8am so it's got to be that early sadly! Fortunately I don't need to be smart or well turned out for doing that (in fact best if not - I did manage to accidentally shower most of my own clothes at the same time this morning :rotfl: It's been a while and I'm a bit out of practice :rotfl: :rotfl:)0

Soooo. Do you remember a while back I may have mentioned that someone had bought me premium bonds when I was a baby, and the documents had all been lost? I might have been sitting on millions! But neither parent could remember who bought them, how much, when, where we lived at the time...
I used the tracing service thing, they wrote and asked for parents' signatures, I sorted them out, and asked the universe for £84,000 :rotfl: :rotfl:
Finally today I got a letter.
They've found an account!
Total amount???
£5 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Won't be retiring just yet then :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Looks like I haven't won a bean in 30 years :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Might draw it out and buy tea and cake instead :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
