I laughed too pippi - didn't it take us 2 and a half days to get there last time?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Not sure I've been tooooo focused, I have sneaked in here a few timesBut got lots done, and had a tasty lunch too :T :T
Just had the nice builder fella round to give a quote for a few things - repointing the roof (eek), plastering the bedroom ceiling :T :T And sorting out the garden! :j :j :j :j :j Made it sound so easy :rotfl: 'yep, we'll just trim that off, wang in a wall, plonk that there' (my words, not his) :rotfl: And there was me struggling for months!
(mind you, let's wait til the quote comes through shall we?? :rotfl:) Does feel like things are happening though - hooray! :j :j :j (still no sign of front door...)
Right - back to work - going to Slimming World at 5 - I've eaten very well this week so I'm hoping for my shiny half stone stickerfingers crossed hey! :T :T

Hmm - 1lb off - so STILL another 1.5lbs left! Pah. Grump grump. (actually, that's not toooo bad considering I've been to a wedding buffet AND out for a pizza this week...)
So, the challenge is on. While supposedly sticking to the plan I have not been measuring milk (and I drink a LOT of milk), or counting yogurt(and I eat a LOT of yogurt
) While these in themselves aren't disasters, they are giving me a false indication of my 'sticking to the plan'-ness :rotfl: :rotfl: And making me wonder what else I'm cheating on
Anyway, forget about that for the time being, I'm just about to rustle up a curry, the water's on for a bath, when the curry's started cooking I'll turn it off and go out for a run, come back and eat curry (which by then will have cooked to perfection all by itself) and then have a nice bath

It was indeed! :T Thanks KC :T
In work now - must have had some kind of premonition because I got up and got the early train - and my office mate (who I usually catch the train in with) informs me the usual one is cancelled! So I'm here and she's not - which, come to think of it, doesn't sound like I won anything :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Still, got tasty food all packed and lined up for today, about to start ploughing on, and will have a cuppa when friend arrives :T0 -
Sounds like you're making steady progress with the weight loss - best way
Very impressed with your curry/ run/ bath coordination

Pippi - it's not a book, it's an internet link to another blog - click on it and it'll take you there! :T (not that I've done anything it said, mind you :rotfl:)0 -
so let me get this straight.
on the internet there is a blog someone is encouraging you to read on the internet telling you how much time you should spend on the internet? :rotfl:
the time you spend reading it you could be doing other things
sense in there somewhere I supposeGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
It didn't go .... but I noticed what the web addy was supposed to be, and stuck it in the space up top
and its there. Very appropriate for me too, a downshifting frugalness
