And thanks :p Feeling good to have a bit of a backup too - never had one before! :T

Yep KC, I met peedie pup at Christmas, but had a lovely time seeing him again (and Fay too, of course! :T) Stars indeed :D

Right, have VERY quickly (and shoddily :rotfl:) cleaned kitchen and bathroom - must be time to go back to wedding I reckon!

Sounds like a very exciting day.

Kitchen and bathroom will still be there tomorrow (or next weekend) but the wedding will be gone - go and enjoy while the chance is there!
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

What a lovely weekend. Lucky you and Pippi and Wik getting to meet each other. Wedding sounds fun, registrar sounds like centre of attention type!

    I'm back now :D:D:D

Gosh, I'm having the Most GLORIOUS weekend, I really am! :j :j :j :j This evening was lovely, lots of cheery friends, everyone had a great time, and the food was GORGEOUS, all pasta and cous cous, walnut bread, and we know a cheesemaker (whose wife was in labour (!) so he'd sent several ENORMOUS and FABULOUS cheeses instead). Cake was lovely, also lime cheesecake, chocolate cake, lemon tart, grapes, figs, kiwi, all kinds of things.

    Danced like a mad fool too - haven't been whirled round that much in AGES :j :j :j :j :j :j

And to top it all off, got home to my results from this morning run - 38 mins and 48 secs, so 1 min 13 secs off my last time! :T :T :T :T Very pleased with myself indeed :D:D:D

And now I'm going to go and drink my tea and calm down - I was informed on the way home (not by mr daffs, who isn't here :rotfl:) that several (like about 12) singers will be invading my kitchen at lunchtime tomorrow - looks like it was a good job I had a quick tidy up then - that's intuition for you! :p

    :j :T :j :T :j :T

Glad you are having a lovely weekend, enjoy the singers today! :D

Shan't be listening to the singing - shall either be out or up in the attic having a clear out :D But I shall enjoy seeing them when they get here :p

Accidentally went backto bed - only just got up again - which must mean it's time for breakfast - again :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Morning lovelies! :j :j

Glorious day here - and I'm working at home, so off up into my newly-tidied attic :T :T :T :T (with a cup of tea, of course!)

Going to TURN OFF THE INTERNET while I'm working today  so I shan't be back here until I've finished this first bit of work at least! :p

Morning Cheery, sounds like a fabulous weekend :T Loved your post about the joys of the start of Uni courses - know exactly what you mean! I was also shocked by York the first time I went to a meeting at the Uni - such an amazing old city with this horrible modern thing stuck on the edge of it! Last time I was over there I went to the new bit with the lake and the ducks though, that is nice :D Have a good day x

And, focussed work and fun and cleared up attics and lovely pictures of mazes!!!

Great to see you - when you said 'my friend of 12 hours away' I thought that was funny - I guess it is 12 hours plus a ferry ride - :)

Hope today goes great :) xx
