Oh, and the phone charger appears to not be charging the blithering phone   so if we can't fix it this morning that'll be a pop into town for another one this afternoon
Sadly both of our phones are pretty much running out of charge, pah!

Do you have a computer cable for the phone, they also work as chargers....
Great list!morning
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Loving the list - and the dull thing, bah! Thats a good tip from Pippi on the cable, hope that'll save you a trip. When technology for work lets you down at home, its not as easy as going to the stock cupboard or ringing the IT department, is it! I've just had that happen myself, with a Windows download, grrr. sorted now, since I'm on here
hope you can shoot through that list today
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sadly it's my own phone and I don't use it for work anyway :rotfl: But good tip on the computer cable - no idea where mine is but Mr Daffs got his phone more recently (same cable) so may have the computer thing. Also he should have his own charger somewhere, although I suspect it would be quicker to buy a new one than try to find that!
(actualy, both of our phones are so basic I'm not sure it's possible to connect them to the computer so that might not be a winner sadly! :rotfl: :rotfl: Will wait til Mr Daffs gets up)
Crossed a couple of things off list alreadyBut will wait for a bit before updating - need to crack on with some work!

Pah!! So much for stopping at 3.30 to do training - didn't start til 5pm, the damn thing is one of those 'two sentences of information per page and lots of whizzy graphics that take forever to load' training things, I got 75% of the way through (with gritted teeth) and the damn thing just closed down by itself, and when I go back in it takes me back to 13%! Pah! NOT going through all those pages again now - it's taken over an hour! It can wait til I'm in the office on Monday (although tat's the last day - teach me to leave things til the last minute!)
Anyway, consequently I've not got much of the way through my list :rotfl: :rotfl:)

Time to stop now though I think - tempted to trot out into the rain for a cheery run!0 -
or maybe I'll just spend some time on the phone to the bank instead :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Trying to set up ISA with existing bank. Have filled in the online application thing but not pressed send - thought I'd ring and see if I could get it linked to my other accounts straight away but evdently everyone else is trying to ring the bank too so I've just submitted the online thing and we'll wait and see.
Anyway - Patchwork Living Fund has £2134 in it at the minute :T :T
ISA yearly allowance (taking me to end of March presumably) is £5340, meaning that in order to fill it, I'd have to save £641.20 a month between now and March.
Hmm.
Mind you, if I want to get to £10,000 by the end of next year, which I do, then I need to be saving £561.85 a month... Currently putting £400 away into that account, so might need a small rethink.... (although I believe I will get an automatic increment of £100 a month again after June which will help! :T :T) Going to sit and do a mega budget at the end of the weekend and we'll see...
Now I really am going to switch the darn computer off and go and do something more interesting! :T :T0 -
Rats to the training module!
And my word, those are largeish sums to be saving - fantastic to be able to do it, even to have the *chance* to do it! Hope the running-and-budgetting worked2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks KC. I do know I'm darn lucky to be able to do it - and I also know I can't take it for granted (especially as my job is only temporary) so had best get on with it now while there's the chance! :T
Sat down with budget last night, wrote down everything that I budget for at the minute (other than patchwork fun) - including 3 lots of trains a week, 5 weeks a month worth of food/fun etc - and there's £509 left over, so that's now what's going to go in the patchwork thing :T :T
Haven't actually reduced my budget at all - that extra £100 is the increment I got in June and have just been idly spending without realising ever since - precisely what I was trying to avoid! So going to see if I miss it too much by bunging it straight in there - can always stop again if necessary (and will get another increment in June so will try to do the same). Will be more diligent about putting not-used train fares etc away for things like flute lessons, and see how we go.
Anyway, today is the last Friday of the month - and I decided to take last friday of every month off as annual leaveNice lie in, lovely sunny day, and I'm off for a cheerful toot with a flute- playing friend in a bit :j :j Might also meet another friend for cake, and do some house-preening type activities (although in my case it's less preening and more a jet powered hose that's needed! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)

Yay to a day off - I've nowt planned for today - also need to do a budget!
I'll be house preening too
