Hey cheery hope you feel better, sorry you're having an arrrrgh day, I hope you have a nice snooze and everything seems better in the morning.0

Thanks Missy. Not sure it seems better this early in the morning! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
NEED to sit down with internet banking before the month is out, have completely ignored it! Don't think I've gone overboard, but pesky bank account usually misbehaves when I don't keep a close eye on it so need to make sure :rotfl: :rotfl: Will do tonight.
Best get cracking, fi I leave for work now I can walk to the station - saving myself 50p! :money: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
And those 50ps will add up :rotfl:and you'll have time to wake up!
Hope today goes well.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Not sure it's going well so far, the bus driver (at the York end - I did walk the first bit :T) nearly ran over a cyclist!   I did shout 'watch out! There's a bike!!' and he said he'd already seen him - but didn't actually appear to be stopping and cycling man had to jump off onto the pavement (and then, understandably, released a torrent of abuse at the bus driver, who said he'd been trying to stop him!). I didn't see what had happened before, had my nose in some work stuff, I just looked up to see cycling bloke alongside the bus about to be squashed, so I have no idea whether all the 'you overtook me!' 'no, you overtook me!' stuff was true... Scary stuff. Contemplating an email to the bus company, although not entirely sure why - at least then it won't only be the cyclist's word for it if he does make a complaint, although I'm not sure how much detail I can add!
Scary stuff. Got tea now fortunately.0 -
Oh my word ... well, jumping off onto the pavement constitutes not having been seen, in my book! Savour that cuppa tea - and certainly hope things go better for you now you're there!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Had reply from bus company, woman was very nice and will give all drivers a 'gentle reminder that buses are rather larger than men on bicycles' as requested
Home now0 -
Soooo, today is a rather gloomy day here, and I'm working at home so don't need to go anywhere for the next few hours at least!
Have tidied the kitchen a little - will finish when I've had breakfast which will make me feel slightly less like I'm living in a landfill site!  :rotfl:
I worked til 10pm on Monday, and haven't taken that time back yet, (some of it I did take off throughout the day though so don't feel too sorry for me...) Anyway, have also got some e-learning module things that I *must* do today, so am going to start at 9, stop at 3 to do training, and then finish work whatever time I finish the training - could be 2 hours - more likely to be about 30 mins
Then I'm taking tomorrow as well-needed annual leave :T :T :T
Peered at pesky bank account yesterday, not as bad as I feared :T :T :T Although it did remind me I need to sort out an ISA - it's very confusing having long term patchwork savings in the same account as holiday fund etc that keeps going up and down - I've got a spreadsheet but it makes it difficult to just sneak a peek at the bank to see how I'm doing. will think on.
Have a good one all! :T :T0
