Quite right too. Hopefully I'll recover pretty quickly, but I certainly won't be feeling like I need to go back to work before I'm ready. Luckily work are pretty good about these things so there won't be any guilt involved thank goodness!

(well, apart from the fact that a friend just popped round at 4pm for a cuppa so I now have to work for another hour and a half to make up for it - but that's not guilt really, just stupidity :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:) Best get cracking or I'll be here all night!

An actual date ... my word. I suspect you *will* be one of the people that recover more quickly, Cheery, and I'm glad it now fits into everything else - including missing a meeting you presumably don't want to go to :D

Actually I don't mind a day out to London meself :D Always up for a chinwag, and I'd have been much happier there than the person who has to go in my place! :D Such is life... :D

I'll probably be right as rain and back to work in about 3 days, more's the pity :rotfl: :rotfl:

Stuff, that's all. Can't really go into detail here sadly!

We've already got cake, but I'll happily take more off your hands :p

I'm glad you have your date for the op. I will predict that you will be amazed at how much better you will feel when you have recovered.

Two friends have had the same op over the past few years and have gone round muttering "Why didn't I get this sorted sooner." Quite boring it became. :rotfl:

Best wishes for sorting the 'aaarrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' situation. Any 'stuff' that requires a 33 letter cry of distress needs a few positive vibes from the West Riding. Consider them winging their way over hill and dale. :D
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Thanks Tricia (am amazed you counted all those letters! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:) And cheers for the cake KC :D Strangely enough, one of my close friends has just been diagnosed with the same thing - hope it's not contagious  :rotfl: :rotfl: Hopefully she'll see how much better I've become (will try not to be a bore about it though :p)

Home now so aaarrrrgggghhhh etc situation won't arise again til tomorrow at least :D :rotfl: Mr Daffs is clearing out the 'workshop' (spare room next to bathroom which has workbench/tools/wood foraged from around and about for years/things found in skips - the kind of things other people would keep in a shed/garage but we don't have one :rotfl:) Some of it is on the way to the cellar, rather hearteningly there's several bags crowding up the back way which look like they're on the way to the bin :T :T And the whole of the house seems to be filled with bits of wood, tools, and nonsense  Worshop's looking nice and empty though :rotfl:

Fortunately I'm so tired I don't care :D Going to stuff my face, have a shower, then a nice snooze :D
