Something in the stars today I think...

I spent 15 mins cleaning ink of EVERYTHING in my bag after a pen exploded mysteriously on the way from the bus to the shop (about 30 seconds walk). Went upstairs, and the director was on her hands and knees cleaning the floor after someone had put the coffee machine on and forgot to put the jug underneath it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Glad it wasn't me who found the coffee or I might have cried after the ink incident too! :D

I'm thinking we're in for a long day... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh dear! Is it national 'liquids trying to escape day' (can you imagine the snazzy marketing campaign for that one? :rotfl:).. person in front of me coming into work this morning fell up the stairs and threw her takeaway coffee all over the place - very messy!

Had to go out today for an interview which meant leaving puppy in his crate. Crate contain a puppy pad (bit like a nappy for him to wee on), a small plastic dog basket for him to curl up in with a pad to line it, a snuggle fleece to keep him cozy and a small bowl of water.

I came home to find he had dragged everything out of the basket, up ended the water and soaked himself and the snuggle fleece and pad!

I cleaned up & re-filled the water bowl. Less than 5 minutes later he went to get a drink and got hold of the puppy pad to pull the water bowl towards him - water, water, everywhere :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Well!

Had to do non-computer work this morning because laptop cable hadn't arrived. Arrived with the post at about 1pm (I was taking the afternoon off work, so had pretty much finished by then). Went to plug the new cable in - only to find the little light on and the old one working perfectly well :rotfl: :rotfl: I did EVERYTHING I could think of to make it work on Tuesday and have just ignored it under the table since - clearly it just needed a little rest! :D So now I've got a spare... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Had the afternoon off, and walked over to workmate's house to meet someone from work who's on maternity leave :rotfl: spent whole afternoon sitting in cafe, then nice brisk hour-long walk back up the hill home. Just what was needed! :T :T
