    Are you copying me then:rotfl:

So..... busy day today! Did the 5k park run this morning - 42 mins and 9 secs :rotfl: :rotfl: Don't think I'll be beating any records (except my own personal worst, of course :rotfl: :rotfl:) Enjoyed it though, and had a nice natter with Heart Bypass Man (who runs at the back, with me) - he was struggling a bit today so we ran to a bench, walked to the next one (although he did resist my suggestion that we sit down for a while! :D)

Had a trip to a (closed) library this afternoon, a walk in the rain, and a bit of a charity shop mooch. Was VERY pleased with finding a brand new lovely Phase Eight cardigan (£10 though  not used to paying that much for clothes :rotfl: :rotfl: although the original label on it said £45...). And an Abracadabra Clarinet book for 50p :D :rotfl: Been tooting this evening - can't work out if it's me that's crap or the cheapo clarinet - quite possibly both :D :rotfl: :rotfl:

Having a bit of an amnesty on things-in-the-wrong place this weekend :D Which was meant to involve both of us, but is now just involving me... so it's kind of turned into a bit of a spring (autumn I suppose!) clean and general tidy. Been setting the timer - set it for 15 mins and did a general straighten up and washed the dishes, then did:

    * 15 mins in the entrance (wiped fridge, emptied compost and recycling, gave front door and window a wipe inside and out, washed top of bin, swept floor, removed bucket and empty mortar tub to outside, wiped top of washing machine, put box full of toy money (!) into a bag (I'm sick of knocking it down the back of the washing machine! :rotfl:) and put in the living room for Mr Daffs to sort out later, and managed to empty basket of assorted cr*p all into one basket (again for Mr Daffs to sort out later) and fill said basket with onions and potatoes instead :D

    * 15 mins in kitchen - got the 4 plates of assorted cr*p off table into one - onto living room window (for Mr daffs to sort out - poor man, but they're only there because he was going to sort them out and I'm sick of looking at them on the table!). Sneakily threw some broken things in the bin. Cleaned rest of table.

    * 15 mins in kitchen (again - I know that wasn't the idea :rotfl:) Wiped windowframes (mucky finger prints - and they've not been glossed so get very grubby), took everything off windowsill and cleaned it, wiped front of all cupboards and cooker

    * 15 mins in kitchen (last one!) - took all stuff upstairs that belongs upstairs (and put most of it away), swept floor, considered dusting/ cleaning tops of bottles in drinks area thing then thought better of it :rotfl: :rotfl:

    * 15 mins of clarinet tooting as a reward :D

    * er, 15 mins of messing about here with you lot :D

Not a bad evening so far! Gone dark now though, so planned dusting of living room will have to wait (our lighting is meant for atmosphere, not functionality - designed specifically so you can't see the dust after dark.. :rotfl: :rotfl:)

Going to do 15 mins in the bathroom, then 15 in the downstairs bit of the bedroom, then head up to the bed and sort out the almighty tangle of blankets and covers and pillows and cushions and nonsense that calls itself our bed, and that I've just been crawling under in a random fashion for a couple of days, too tired to do anything else.... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Back in a bit - after I've rewarded myself with a flute toot (hopefully more competent than the clarinet one! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)

    You've had a busy day!

Am envious of your soap with petals! I tried to do some rose soap with petals and they ended up like mush. But maybe its a different process?

(oh, and I haven't stopped, I'm throwing things out of the bathroom cabinets with gay abandon (just WHY would you keep a vile free body lotion that you hate the smell of?? Because it was free?? When you're never actually going to use it EVER?! Charity shop bag I think!) - anyway, just stopped to stick another episode of women's hour on the radio :rotfl: :rotfl:)

    So.... now I've done

    * 15 mins bathroom clearing out cupboards (eek!)
    * 15 mins also in bathroom :p cleaning windowsill, pulling dead leaves off plant, cleaning sink and mirrors etc
    * another 15 mins in bathroom wiping floor and back of loo, putting skirting board back (don't ask), cleaning pipes (yuk)

    then

    *15 mins tooting on flute
    * 15 mins making and eating some food
    * 15 mins idly ambling round staring over garden fences (virtually of course, not really, that wouldjust be weird at this time of night :p)

Now I have a dilemma... I'm here on my own tonight, and I'd planned an evening of tidying and a nice bath. Found out earlier a friend is having a party about 30 mins walk away. Can happily ignore this - they have lots of parties and my presence is not required :p BUt another friend, who I haven't seen for absolutely YONKS is on her way over there now... Should I forego my bath and trot down there and be sociable?? Or should I stick to the original plan?? Rubbish at making decisions - might need a cup of tea! :p

Oooh, Cheery, I DO miss you! :D

Glad to see you are keeping well and tooting away. :D:D

I've been thinking of making some soap. Why do you keep coming to mind when I think of it? Got any recipes (*hint, hint*)? ;)

Glad to see you are well apart from thyroidy thingies. I shall have to stop by more often. :) xxx

    HI PIckle! :T :T

Soap.... I use these instructions here - but with the recipe in this post. There's plenty of people out there doing it differently though - just search around and have a go!

Been cycling this morning, with a group of 25 women. 25! Usually only about 7 or 8 :D Lovely ride, they're fab people who run it, never leave anyone behind, always someone at the back, and cheerfully too, not just hurrying you up so you can catch up with everyone else... Had an utterly lovely time - although after yesterday's park run I certainly feel like I've had enough exercise this weekend! :rotfl: :rotfl: Been home an hour and a half and all I've managed to do is eat soup and drink hot chocolate :D I can see that being a pattern for the rest of the weekend! :rotfl: :rotfl:

(although there are a few other things I want to do too. Maybe one more cup of tea... :rotfl:)
