I exhanged one of the items I bought with the voucher instore today. I did have my despatch note with me as proof and said I only wanted a bigger size which they had. At first the assistant said I couldnt exchange and she'd need to refund onto my account and I could buy the bigger one. I explained that as I'd used the voucher code I wasnt sure how that would work. She seemed confident that the money would be given as a credit which I was happy enough with and said as long as I didnt lose it. She eventually just did it as a straight exchange so I'm sure they can do it. It was maybe just luck that I got a a nice helpful sales person.

I had to create an account too but you can get the code to work by doing this:

1. Create your account
2. Logout
3. Click on My Account
4. Enter your email and password then add the free delivery code to the promotional code box before you click on Sign in Now.

This added the free delivery to my account and stopped me being asked to buy a directory.

Well, I tried to follow the steps but probably didn't do it correct so the FREE delivery code didn't work for me. I'm due to get my order today so I'll give them a ring straight after to make sure the £3.99 is refunded.

Update: just spoke to NEXT and they gave me a full refund for the delivery. So if you free delivery code doesn't work, you know what you need to do :-)

Are you going through the living social link for Next to redeem the £30 voucher? If so then it's the 10 digit code you would have received by email or log into your livingsocial account for it. Once you have went through that using the 10 digit code you should be able to sign in and use the delivery code on the log in page. If it's just free delivery your after on a normal order then just log in through the normal website www.next.co.uk and pop the delivery code in the promotions box at log in.

Living Social have taken money from my bank account.

Ive also realised that Next are also trying to charge me again on my directory account.

Has anyone else got this problem?

Ive contacted Next as this menas I will end up spending the full price on the items rather than the special offer.

Why cant things just be simple!
