It does teach them up until someone who has your seat comes along and gets an usher to kick you into the ordinary seatsCompetition Wins:

£7.90 (standard) or £10 (3D) in our Cineworld, but free parking and a quick trip to M&S for extras. So now it is a maximum of 3 times a year for us.Truth always poses doubts & questions. I live in nottingham and the cinema is town is around £8 for one ticket for adults and for kids! Theres a lovely little cinema called the Savoy that me and my DS go to about a 10 mins bus from the city centre where it's £3.80 for students and kids, and with popcorn its only a tenner for the both of us! took him to see Toy story 3 there and he loved it, so we've since been to see yogi bear and gnomeo and juliet. The last two times we went to see a turtles tale, where there was only one other family in the screening, then when we went to see winnie the pooh we had the place to ourselves for £7.60! Its dead cool theres a bar there too and they have double seats that couples can sit on, and they show one offs too me and OH went to see Waynes World at christmas!
We go there whenever theres a new kids film on cos its good value, theres no way I'd pay £16 just to get in to the one in town its outrageous0 -
I have an unlimited card so I pay £15 each month to go see a load of films. My cineworld just put the prices of food up though. Nearly £8 for a large coke and popcorn now.I try to help as much as I can. But I'm also honest and speak my mind.

My local cinema is £2.50 Mon - Thurs and £3.50 Fri- Sun. Okay so its not 3d and not even the crispest picture in the world, but its easily good enough. Also because its small you don't get so many noisy people. I go more now than I have in years.0

It isn't cheap to go, is it? Pity, cos I love films.
I used to work in a cinema, though, and I remember being told by someone in managment that the cinema has to pay the film companies for the use of the reels of film PLUS 90% () of the cost of the ticket, which is why popcorn etc. is so expensive as that's the only place they actually make any money.
I can't believe how little they take in terms of ticket price, though: even selling shedloads of popcorn and drinks, it must be hard to make the books balance (but they must be able to do it). Please call me 'Pickle'

My local AMC only charges £4 for films in the morning and discount cards are available through various means to get in anytime for £4.80.
I was going to mention this! I love my Spinningfields card - I certainly won't pay any more than £4.80 to see a film. I like the Odeon but it's totally overpriced, the Manchester AMC is great - and has nicer food when I feel like splashing out a bit. Shame there's only two AMCs in the UK though! They now do £4 for the latest showings on Friday and Saturday nights too, must be to attract more people as I imagine it's quite dead at those times, the Great Northern building is really eerie and dead generally other than the cinema... when are any shops going to open in there?!0 -
I'm still under contract for my Cineworld Unlimited card so it's £13.50 a month.
On average see 8/10 films a month so pay £1.35-£1.69 per film
you may soon be paying the new price i reckon, i signed up in 2008 and i think then it was less than £13.50 and since i signed up the price has gone up to £13.50 then £14.990
