Got another 3 meal deals today - went for the merlot this time :)

Just had the chicken with asparagus and rosemary pots for tea - chicken with asparagus was very nice but the piece of chicken was very stingy!

I'm waiting for one voucher from Saturday but not really bothered as since 2006 I think tesco have given me approx 25k of free stuff all legitimately so can't complain!

    This is win-win for Tesco.

If they don't generate RTD vouchers, despite the grumbling here - so what ? What can we do about it? It's all very well saying there's a furore on the forum but how exactly does that affect Tesco profits?

As I see it, unless the vouchers are forthcoming, we have bought substandard wine and fatty meals for £10 (when for the same price you can get an 'offer' wine from Australia of much better quality and then have £6 or £7 to spend on quality ingredients).

I actually feel like a mug rather than a 'savvy shopper.'

The joke's on us guys. :o

Apart from they are advertising to pay the difference, so ultimately they will, even if it takes a few extra hours!

I've just used a voucher to generate another one by buying the meal deal: 2 packs of citron tarts.... Sublime! & chicken with ham/cheese & merlot.
Ought I not to have bothered going by the worried msers with outstanding rtd vouchers. Do you reckon they are flagged if a small reciept is entered with a meal deal which is then manually put through as receipt not found?

Wish they would add the creamy garlic mushrooms in on the meal deal...they look lovely!

I've only been watching this deal for a few days...do they add new products and take some off at any time does anyone know? Full to the brim on the lovely finest food...just wish my RTD vouchers would hurry up...!

Also, why are there other items in the meal deal section on the web page that do not have the 'yellow banner' and I assume not part of the £10 meal deal? Bit confusing..... http://www.tesco.com/groceries/ProductBuylist/default.aspx?id=L00000445

Many thanks indeed to the OP for this - I'm a former (quite regular) MSE poster who has been away from the boards for ages due to work commitments but I am so glad I found the time to pop back in for a quick lurk last weekend! I have bought 3 x three lots of meal deals since last Saturday - the mains and sides are all freezable, and the cheese has a nice long use-by date on it. The wine isn't actually lasting quite as long as it ought to (hic!) - it's very drinkable.

I received all my price check vouchers within 24 hours (hurrah hurrah) but to those of you still waiting for overdue ones, could I suggest that you look in your junk mail folders? I found two of mine had randomly ended up in there.

no need to be rude Blobby. It's an honest question. If Tesco say 'sorry, meal deals aren't included' we cannot demand RTD vouchers.

Despite what the website says, I'm still waiting for my £11-odd voucher and what do you suggest I (and others) do if they don't arrive?

You're on the wrong forum mate. This is moneysavingexpert.com not wearemugs.com

If you like stuff cheap, for nought, loopholes, advice and chat - this is the place to be.

If you are a mug and like people playing jokes on you - there's plenty of sites out there. ;)
