As it happens I can afford the £10 but on reading some of the posts here a lot of people are hard up and £10 is a lot for them - especially if they were led to believe (by this website) that they could have the deal for £4-odd. That's my point really, and no value in going on about it.

I'll take your advice and 'wait and see' about the voucher if and when it arrives!!

If it doesn't, then it's back to M&S meal deals for me - much nicer food for £10 and no underhand tactics along the lines of 'this is part of the deal, no it's not, has it got a yellow sticker, no that was last week, you got the wrong size lasagne, there's only cheap meatballs left in the cabinet etc.'

first time doing the price check thing.

I bought 3 of these deals on Sunday and at checkout it rang up at £49.48. OH was gobsmacked when customer services refunded £38.96 (DTD) so imagine how the £17.79 price check voucher was received!

Kerrching - reckon Mr T paid us £7.27 to take 3 meal deals.

Good evening all! I purchased 2 meal deals saturday, got the voucher through within 24 hours. Purchased 2 sunday, got the vouchers through Monday. Yesterdays voucher I am still waiting for. So after tea (rosemary potatoes, chicken with wiltshire ham and cheese, beetroot, and strawberry shortcake slices) I went on the pricecheck website, put the details in again, it said "we are processing..." pressed the back arrow, then the forward arrow, and the voucher was waiting to be printed. :-)

HTH anyone who is still waiting for a voucher???

Just tried this and it didn't work for me :( Glad you got yours tho and thanks for the suggestion, hope it works for others...

I have taken advice from this site for a good few years now and usually have gained from it.
I am not defending Tesco now because believe me fleecing them at any given opportunity is my speciality but if I were in their position I would now be trying to find ways to stall us and making us wait will be saving themselves money.
Don't kid yourself that Mr T has even heard of us but some poor sod who designed the "price checker" will be getting their @rse kicked now and for them I feel a tiny bit of remorse.
Until then fill your boots folks but why does everyone have to get greedy, why try a different main cos your fed up with chicken,if it's not in the deal it ain't going to work.
I've done this five times now and in total have outlayed £14 and I'm also waiting for one voucher from yesterday,so I'm happy with five bottles of TR for 14 quid.
It saddens me to hear people moaning about the quality, fat content etc.We were all eager to buy/eat it when the vouchers were coming through so don't be bitter.
I hope I don't get slated for this post because I don't mean to offend anyone but lets all be nice to one another and remember why we are on here in the first place!!

I am delighted that Mac1977 got DTD at CS but this is what is so bizarre about Tesco.

Several times we have been told that DTD is no longer available, and it's been replaced by RTD.

Does this mean RTD/DTD is down to individual till assistants and/or CS staff?

If so, it's a bit of a lottery and worth reconsidering if you value your time and possible wasted petrol.

Isn't it still DTD if the store itself charges different from their advertised price and rtd for Asda?

    Hi,

I have got an ordinary shopping receipt from yesterday that I am still awaiting a reply on. It isn't just the meal deal ones that have been delayed. Prior to yesterdays I have always received my vouchers the following day. I would guess they might just be extra busy at the moment with everyone rushing out and buying meal deals. Just like the old DTD days!! ;)

To those people who are waiting for vouchers from yesterday and have tried re entering the details on the price checker for my 2 receipts again to see if this generates the "instant voucher". Have you noticed the end of the http address being as "Compare-Failure.aspx"

Im pretty sure I had a few of these on the DTD scheme to which I never received the voucher.. I never complained back then due to being on a roll with the vouchers, but this offer only have 2 and both have the above at the end of the address... I feel I have lost them?

Would be interesting if noticed by anyone else who are still waiting and I will update if I ever get mine thru...

Sorry forgot to mention this is seen once details have been entered and you are on the "this receipt is already being processed screen"
