Just got back from getting another 3 Meal deals , SA gave reciept back unsigned , then when she entered my voucher on the till she asked me for it back as the till asked her if she had scribbled on it . Why could they not have done this in the first place.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0

It was done in the hope (probably vain hope!) that the staff would remember to sign receipts so that people could not re-use them! It appeared that when DTD was in operation, and staff were unsure what they were supposed to do (not much change there really!) LOTS of receipts were getting re-used with re-printed vouchers.
I'm not sure people are still so keen to point out to Tesco the correct procedure now that Tesco are being so bloody minded over the scheme and their false advertising promises!ELITE 5:2

Can't you just be happy that you had a voucher to use and another one to come from that shop plus three cheap meals and yet still have to have a go about the SA. Some people are never satisfied.0 -

No need to be so touchy! The way I read it was that the OP was thinking that it would have saved a lot of devious goings on with receipts if the check out staff had got a prompt on their tills to remind them to sign the used receipts. It appeared to be a comment about Tesco & their methods rather than a poke at the SA!ELITE 5:2

Just had our Veggie Lasagne with salad for lunch - really really tasty and only 380 cals for half the pack if you are watching the weight.
We too had to track down the Turner Road in the wine aisle and also the cheese (which had been cunningly hidden with the curries ) but so so worth it.
Happy days!xx

The comparison is on your whole shop.
Dammit not realised that - yes I did so that's it.
Just picked up another deal with shopping, so argghhh, will have to see. Guess the trick s to put it through separately. Does it apply to reduced items do you know?0 -

Yes it does..as I found out to my cost on my very first shop. Got a big thick piece of fresh tuna steak for pennies which I thought would come up as n/a because it was reduced. Not so, & I lost ££££'s off the value of my first voucher. (It was DTD too, so of course the money I 'lost' was doubled too.:()
Buy the meal deal separately, or only buy items that are cheaper or the same as Asda with it.0 -

I'm afraid it does in most cases...they compare to full priced items in A...
EVERYONE PLEASE REMEMBER TO BUY YOUR MEAL DEALS SEPARETELY OR WITH CAREFULLY CHECKED ITEMS!0
