I suspect that these prices won't alter before the meal deal expires. Tesco seem happy to give you RTD as you are in their store and not in Asda and I'll bet many people buy other shopping thus increasing Tesco's turnover at the expense of Asda's.

Just wish I could get enthused (is that a real word) by the meal deal, it's quite a poor choice from the extensive 'Finest' range really.

Most of the items aren't really meant to be frozen and have short dates on them (most under a week anyway) and have horrendous calorie counts on them (Belgian choc puds at 400 for what is about 3 bites ).

"Tesco creates an obese society" ought to be the headline.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
    Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

yes agree would have expected the range to change now since how many chicken things can you put in the freezer (mine is full now)
have about 6 vouchers left and have decided to use them to buy things on offer since no more meals for me need to diet

An odd one today as I bought my meal deal.
    Bought Turners
    Green beans
    Chicken and cheese
    Lemon tarts

Till would not accept as meal deal and supervisor brought over. He said it was turners causing the trouble. Changed Turners......still no joy.

Said it was chicken and cheese. Changed to Hock Pie....still no joy.

As this has taken over 15 minutes, supervisor just put it through as"Groceries" £10" and £5.93 existing voucher taken off.

Everyone was very pleasant and no troutism whatsoever. I am just a tad upset that "Groceries" £10 will not generate a new difference voucher.

I don't know if this just a local glitch or perhaps there have bee changes made to the whole deal.

Was it just green beans or mixed green veg? The latter is in the offer, not sure about the former.

    It's only a game

Hi, I know that this is really about the meal deal but would be grateful for some advice. On checking my receipt at home (I know...I usually do it at store) I notcied I was charged for 7 Mueller crunch when I had purchased 8 to get the 8-£2. So I have been charged £4.71. I called CS and they said just take receipt back to store and they will check it out. This was on Thur and not sure if offer has changed. Should I request £2.71 and be happy or push for dtd or gift card for my trouble?
(Ready with my argument of why would I buy 7 when 8 is on offer.....obviously I've never done such a thing when DTDing ;))

If they've overcharged you (which effectively they have when they didn't scan the 8th to give you the offer) then store policy is DTD.
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I'd ask for dtd, it was their mistake after all and you've had to call them/go back. Up to you if you push for it, but definately no harm in asking!

Has anyone frozen the cheese? We would normally eat enough cheese to not worry about it but DH has just come back from france with enough camembert and brie to keep us full of cheese for a month!
