If you look at hte plaque behind customer services it says if things do not add up we will give you double the difference.

Apparently the DTD bit had been blanked out! They said it did not apply any longer.

DTD the recent promotion is dead...

    ...but...

...DTD the in-store guarantee that if you get overcharged vs the advertised price you get DTD is ALIVE & KICKING!

If anybody denies you DTD for the latter, kick some serious a£se, demand to speak to the manager, take his name, make a complaint to HQ etc :D:rotfl::cool::rotfl::D

You'll ALWAYS win the point as DTD in-store is a Tesco-wide policy. ;)

Anyone bought the meal deal today? I bought one and the meal deal came up as £18 and the checkout person just manually reduced the price of each item to make it to £10.

The receipt just said that the Turner wine is £3.01!

You should have paid the £18 and then went to CS for £16 DTD back.
If you don’t speculate, you can’t accumulate.

Mine went through fine, got 2 plus a sammich and it was charged £39.98 before discount and then £18.48 was removed for the meal deals. What did you get? Mine was:

    2x Chardonnay

    1x Veggie lasagne
    2x Roast potatoes
    1x Cheddar mash
    1x lemon tarts
