£10 Tesco Meal deal for £4.07

-
bought 3 meal deals in tesco today, but the total came to £40.. after pointing this out to the checkout lady, who despite being told that 3 * £10 is £30 and not £40, the manager was called, who agreed with me, lol... they put the items back through, but did alot of messing around with the till... they reduced the price 's of items so that the total came to £30. once i paid, they gave me the recipt, and to my horror, they had canceled 2 bottles of wine!!! knowing that i wouldn't get a voucher from this, i took the items straight to customer service and got my money back, lol.
also, there were only 3 desert items left in store... so only 3 meal deals could be bought.0 -

Quite right.
Remember you can choose 2 sides instead of a side and a dessert.Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.0 -
I've just received 4 emails telling me that they can't find my receipt from Saturday and to try again. I've input the details again and they're now telling me it's being processed!!0

If that happens the best thing is to let it go through the till, then go to the c s desk where you are entitled to a
double the difference refund.0 -
What a load of arrogant self-righteous twaddle! Tesco never cease to amaze me.
I must try taking a bottle of whisky out of the store without paying, and then pass the following letter to the manager when I get nabbed:
Thank you for apprehending me.
I was concerned to learn that you have experienced some problems whilst attempting to get paid for the bottle of liquor I took off your shelf. I appreciate why you would be unhappy and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Regrettably, whilst my system of paying at the till is as comprehensive as possible, there are some rare occasions where I am unable to find any money in my pocket. This is unfortunate and I am very sorry that you have been disappointed. However, I am sorry to say that if the money is not recoverable from my pocket, that I will be unable to pay you for the liquor in this instance.
I am sorry that you have not been able to get paid for your liquor. I will log your complaint and ensure that it is available for my friends to view as they enjoy quaffing the liquor with me this evening.
Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.
LOL... I love it.0 -

I'd have had £20 in cash then? reducing the price of the meal to £20.... I'd only have paid about £12 for the three meals once the vouchers were deducted.. I'd prefer the vouchers.
i've never had a double the difference refund, so correct me if i'm wrong in how it works.0 -

That happened to me...i got the creamy mash but CS said they owuld give me it as part of the meal deal and put them thro manually reducing the wine to £7. I said id happily get the right items but she insisted that i get what i bought as it was advertised.
DOH all the time i was thinking how nice of her but also my return the difference has gone to pot.0 -
