How old will earthlet be? We went to Gran Canaria in Feb 09 when DD1 was 11 months, and it was great. We went to a hotel, which had a lovely clean room with a balcony, and buffet meals. Looking back this was perfect, because DD1 was on solids but a bit unpredictable about what she liked. So we filled up a bowl for her, and if she didn't like it we could just go back and get something different. If we had gone to somewhere where we were eating in a served restaurant every meal it would have been much more stressful. There were 3 pools including a small warm toddler pool, and a beach, and it was hot and sunny without being too hot. If you want I can try and look out the name of the place for you?0

I think a holiday will do you the world of good. Canaries might be best that time of year but not sure if the flight would be too long?Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0

Thanks for the suggestions. Prices are arounf £1,300 all inclusive for a 2 bed room. I am just wondering how realxing it will actually be with a 18 month old to entertain!! Will it be worth it?
Yesterday I had a great day, 12 papers marked, I did the planting out I wanted to do as well.
I didn't get myself organised for today though and I have forgotten fruit and cake, so I might have to buy somthing!! Doh, MUST get everything ready the night before.
I have a free this afternoON, so I should get my marking done then. I have a meeting and a tutoring afterschool, so a busy one today.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Well done on the marking and planting. I wish I could grow stuff! When i re-read your first diary I realised it was you that inspired me to attempt to grow my own fruit and veg. I didn't even have any success with tomatoes and left them to ripen on the windowsill in the end!Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0

Well I haven't been growing so much lately, I gave up my allotment when I got pg. Tomatos were slow last year - this year mine look much better!
Yesterday I spent 77p on a biscuit (what a rip off!) as I forgot my cake and fruit. I won't do that again. My tutee cancelled but didn't tel me (how annoying) but I didn't charge her as its the first ttime its happened, and she hasn't cancelled for a year!
I did a big shop instead, and spent £54. I am hoping that with a top up shop, this will last 2 weeks (note to self, do a menu plan and make it last 2 weeks!!)
I marked 10 papers, and have done 4 today. I will do another 6 after school, before my tutoring client.
I have decided to go up to my mums at the weekend - not very mse as it costs £50 in petrol, but I will enjoy getting pampered. My friend who sometimes helps me with the baby at the weekend is away, and oh is away, so it'll be nice to get a bit of adult company!!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
