Looks like i got £40 (a pair of £20 tickets) out of the £1440 that I applied for. Pretty disappointing!
What is it showing up on the statement as? mine is https://www.tickets.london London WC2H - is that correct?0 -
I have just checked and I have got £331 out of £1925. :)Can't work out what I have got though.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

Apparantly a quater of a million people will have missed out on tickets:

Neither I nor family have had anything debited yet, but it seems they have taken just over half so I shall keep my fingers crossed for a while longer.0 -
Just checked my credit card online statement and there is a debit for £66, we only applied for £120 worth of tickets to see the shooting as my OH is a keen Clay Pigeon shooter, so thought it would be interesting to see it done Olympic Style.
Not sure if we got the skeet or the trap on medals day but i'm happy we got at least one event. Might check out the second chance tickets next year to get the other event we missed out on.
We're happy though so here comes London 2012.0 -

Thanks I have worked out that it probably is the football at wembly preliminary rounds and maybe either football finals, swimming or boxing. I really wanted to see the athletics but it looks like I like many others have missed out. Will have to try again in the second round.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

Still nothing taken for us.
I am feeling rather bitter atm. I didn't really give the ballot much thought at the time, but now realise just how unfair it has been. We are not rich and so couldn't afford to apply for tickets we didn't want, or higher price tickets. We live close to the site and have put up with years of disruption already, increased council tax and will have ridiculous amounts of disruption during the event itself. I could have forgiven all this if local residents were to be accoomodated as part of the games.
Also, the system is so opaque it's ridiculous. Has ANYONE been allocated child price tickets yet? I can't find anything on the net to suggest they have so can only presume the ballot was not quite as random as organisers would like you to think. Have all the tickets gone to adults paying £20 rather thn children paying their age? I'd love to be proved wrong, but doubt I will be...
Even if we do end up getting tickets, this whole farce has left a very definite bad taste in my mouth and I don't feel quite as supportive as I once did.0 -
No, didn't get any child price or pension prices on our application, just one full-price session (£20-£30 tickets). The pay-your-age idea obviously backfired by creating massive competition in the ballot for a relatively small number of things people really wanted to see, reducing the odds of winning cheap tickets to very very slim indeed.
People close by can still try for an early morning session in one of the team sports where there should be a chance of pay your age tickets in the next selling window. Hope it comes good for you one way or the other!:T:j :TMFiT-T2 No.120|Challenge started 12.12.09|MFD 12.12.12 :j:T:j0 -
I got one child price ticket and 2 pensioners for the same event.
think the results of the ballot makes things a bit easier for Londoners - if you applied for an event every day (as I did) but only got 2 five days apart (as I did) you'd still want to go. If, however, you have to pay for 5 nights accommodation to get to 2 events, you'd think twice I am!0 -
Ive got two for the football in manchester, thought i'd missed out but they've gone out this morning woohoo!
