    Thank you

Today is the day. It's weird he is back to himself. Grabbed his ball to play. !!!!!! is going on? He's normal just the tumour inside his head we seen it in black and white. Vet be here in less than 4 hours. Oh god :(

My dog did this too. At the time he had heart failure, and the vet said that dogs often improve before the worst...I don't know if that's true, but it broke my heart.

I'm really, really sorry. I'm choked up...I've got to go to the hospital soon but my thoughts will be with you all morning.

He taking him for a walk, he was gone, ran off as usual tail wagging, looking back "Look at me Daddy". This is horrible.. :(

    Hi
I'm so sorry for what you are going through, all I can say is that if you are not sure what to do then phone your vet quick....if you want to wait then wait...it is probably only the matter of time though but if you want to try to get a few more days with him then go for it! You must remember though that everytime he relapses you will have to go through the heartache again and have a confused dog who cannot respond properly whilst in that state.

I'm sorry I'm not being much help but I feel in a panick for you also, you vet will be the best one to advice and do not be scared to phone them up and ask.

Will be thinking of you today xxxxxxxxxx
Why does my dog chase cars? Even if he caught one he hasn't passed his test!

Im choked for you too, but if you have fully discussed this with the vet and there is no way the tumour can be removed, then may be its best to let him go when he isnt at his worse. I know exactly how you feel though - they always seem to look better after you make the decision and then you feel wracked with pain over it.

God bless xxx, give him a kiss from all of us xx

Big big hugs from me too. We had our spaniel PTS at home as well, couldn't bear not to bring her back from the vets.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!

That's today, it may suddenly worsen one night and you have to drive him to an emergency vet miles away, all with him in agony.

That's how I convinced myself I was doing the right thing for my dog. Mine had a tumour of the spleen, first I knew was him having fits.

Thinking of you and your husband on this sad day.

Rip Sam. :-(. Passed away peacefully in his bed at home.

Don't know how to take hubbies pain away. :(

Molly knew she gave him a kiss before vet took him away. We waiting for his ashes now to keep next to his ornament.

All the best Darlyd, it's always awful losing a pet, especially like that.

I have had lost 4 dogs since I was a child, and each one had to be put down, it always comes to the time when you are about to get them put down and they seem fine and you regret the decision. With one of the dogs we just said no, then one morning all we could hear was constant screaming (it was a pug, just look on youtube if you don't know what they sound like) of pain and she was stood up and couldn't move a mm. We had to rush down to the vets and getting her put to sleep straight away, that was incredibly traumatic for everyone, and we had wished we had done it before when the vets said we should have.
