same old really... we still can't really afford to pay much more than just interest. it's really getting me down lately actually, we were expecting to have paid off a lot more by now. my other half has been searching for a new job that will pay more as he's been in his current job almost a year with no progression or pay rise. aaah and it's christmas soon. really wanted to get my parents a fab pressie to say thanks for all their support! grrr stop being so negative doodah

Can't you ask them again to freeze the interest? They must see by now that you're willing to pay but you can't pay any more at the moment?

This time of year is definitely the hardest for feeling broke

update - found out oh has been cheating so will be leaving him soon
debts were mostly mine to begin with so my debt free day will be a long way away
