What was the original payment? Have they frozen charges and interest?

the original payment should be about £30 so not much less. strangely enough they haven't charged me for being over my limit or non-payment. it's 0% interest til february so i didn't ask about interest but i'll ring them in february to see if they'll carry on not charging me interest

    Excellent news :D :T

We had Egg accept today which is 40% of the debt

They said they'll freeze interest and charges once the default is issued next month too :)

  • hi i tried to set my own dmp up and failed miserably but i have since been with spectrum im not saying go with them just to oposite what ive learnt over the last 2 years is eventually the companies send the debts off to their solicitors and they will then stop any interest and normally agree to alot lower monthly payments just continualy pay your offer while your waiting for them to agree to it. at the moment im paying £1 each per month im thinking of taking controll and loosing spectrum and using their fee to up my payments
 you cant get a yes if you dont ask
i have an intermittant connection so sorry if i dont reply straight away

    latest update:
lloyds have frozen interest until paid off! as long as we keep up with our payments of £20 a month. so happy about that one :)

mbna have also stopped interest and we're not even going on a payment plan with them, yey :D

so now it's just barclaycard and alliance & leicester to sort out. oh and council tax
