No. The person did not understand when I wrote very simple instructions on eBay, I refuse to humiliate them by calling them and trying to explain financial matters. If If I purchased something and something went wrong, I would converse via eBay or text messages, I do not want random people phoning me up.

Don't you need to talk to converse?

It's taken you two threads to get to the point where you are now & you do speak English, so expecting someone who perhaps doesn't speak it fluently to grasp what you're messaging is a little foolish. Especially considering the fact that when you messaged them via ebay you didn't know what you had done wrong.
I wouldn't respond to a text message from someone off ebay.

I skimmed over your post. Without making stupid comments, can you just tell me exactly what you think I should do next?

(I apologise if this seems blunt, but the majority of people on here seem to faff around a lot, without actually suggesting anything themselves. You seem knowledgeable, so I ask you directly)

    :)

I hadn't made a stupid comment I was responding to you in the same way you like to respond to others.
I have been all day, the same as soolin told you on 22 April, today you finally got round to registering the email address.
You should drop a NPB case as the buyer has paid.
You F***ed up it's taken you a whole calendar month & two threads to get to this point. Yet you still seem to believe that the buyer is the one in the wrong.
I think what you should do is parcel up the item and post it to the buyer, apologise for being a turnip & ask them to accept the item free of charge with your compliments.
If it was bought on the 13th April & unclaimed money gets returned after 30 days it would have been returned on Wednesday.
Ebay will of course know that the buyer tried to pay so they should throw your dispute out.

I have provided the buyer with a corrected method of payment, to which they have failed to co-operate with.

so the buyer HAS PAID to the email address you originally provided, so you gave them the correct email address and expect them to pay TWICE.

If it was me i would cut my loses as the mistake was due to the buyer been given the wrong email address to pay. i would politely ask the buyer for the transaction number and prove that they have paid (they will have a paypal emailed receipt) just ask for a copy and if this shows they have paid i would send the item and just write it off

As I stated in post #3 of this thread, no money has entered my bank account, thus no item will be leaving my shelves. However, thank you for your advice.

If you or anyone has any other advice that is not a stupid comment, I welcome it. :)

Incorrect, no payment was ever received to the first email address.

So you mean you haven't got the balls to call them and speak to them in person, and admit that you messed up, delaying the delivery of the good they bought????

If that's the case then you deserve negative feedback, and a non delivery strike.

As previously stated, chasing the buyer by phone will not be the course of action I will take. I refuse to humiliate them by calling them and trying to explain financial matters. simmed, I'm starting to think that you are making all of this up, and are some sort of attention seeker. You asked advice, and have been given advice, but you aren't interested.

as everyone has stated pick up your phone and call them and speak to them politely explaining the situation and if they have sent a payment via paypal ask then to email you a copy of the paypal receipt, then you can recall paypal with the transaction number so that paypal can trace the payment.

if they can prove they have sent a payment then this is down to you to ask PP to trace it and place it in your account, but if this is the case then send the goods while you wait for paypal to get the payment to you, otherwise i would ask ebay to close your ebay account before they suspend you for not sending goods when a buyer can prove a payment was sent, even not to your paypal account which they could not as you GAVE then the WRONG email address.

ALL THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND NO FAULT ON THE BUYER. IF I WAS THE BUYER I WOULD HAVE MADE A CLAIM FOR NON RECEIPT OF GOODS AND ALSO REPORTED YOU TO EBAYS SECURITY TEAM AS A FRAUDULENT SELLER.

This would cause your account to be restricted from adding any new items or even worse have you account suspended.
