You asked advice, and have been given advice, but you aren't interested.

Asking for advice is very different to taking advice.

For example, if you ask for directions on the street, and one person points north, whilst another person points south, both have given you advice, but you obviously need to choose which advice. :money:

as everyone has stated pick up your phone and call them

As stated, this isn't going to happen. See previous posts for reasons why.

If anyone has any other advice that isn't a stupid comment, which doesn't involve me repeatedly calling the buyer, please share it. :money:

You have been told several times the correct course of action to take.

Are you just a coward, or are you an attention seeker?

They did pay, the payment was unclaimed because OP didn't take the advice given to him by soolin on 22/4 details in this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3188826
Most people who ask for advice & are given it take it.

As I stated in post #3 of this thread, no money has entered my bank account, thus no item will be leaving my shelves. However, thank you for your advice.

If you or anyone has any other advice that is not a stupid comment, I welcome it. :)

The money doesn't go from buyers bank account to yours it goes to Paypal then you have to withdraw funds to your bank account.

Regardless, no money has entered my bank account, thus no item will be leaving my shelves until it is paid. :money:

Automatically assuming that the advice you offer is the best advice is very naive. :money:
I know how to run an ebay business, and I know how to deal with customers. And I'm not the only one to give you the same advice.

IF they respond (very slim chance) then I will tell eBay exactly what has happened, that no payment has been received, and that I am following the precise instructions of PayPal staff.

IF after that (note 2 ifs in a row), I get a mark against my account, so be it.

I half-agree, half-disagree. On one hand, I made a mistake originally, and the buyer did nothing wrong up until that point. On the other hand, I have provided the buyer with a corrected method of payment, to which they have failed to co-operate with.

It's like this: A person is trying to get a drink from a vending machine. They put the money in, but the money keeps on coming out. Just because they TRIED to put money in, doesn't mean they are entitled to a free drink from the working vending machine next to it. :p

    Nope..

No it's not like that, the person at the vending machine has their money back, your victim does not.
For all you know the victim of your incompetence is on holiday with no net access and a friend or flatmate is waiting on your item in vain because you are not up to the simple task of selling on eBay.

In that case you are guilty of theft, as they have paid money to the account specified by you, yet you refuse to release the goods.

This issue could bea easily solved by a simple phone call.

By the way can someone give me simmed's ebay details so that I can reember never to deal with them?
