Sold an item on eBay, mis-spelt the email to pay to

Anyway, I updated the PayPal around an hour ago but still no payment has been received. So it looks like I will win the payment not received dispute even if the buyer does reply (because, after all - payment has not received). Not like it matters - I think I read that the dispute is solved automatically if the buyer doesn't respond within 3 days, and that deadline is approaching fast.[/QUOTE]
It has been paid though if it's now showing a print postage that only happens after payment as far as I know.
Have you had a link emailed to you or anything to verify your new email address?0 -

Yeah, I verified the email address immediately. I don't need to make it my primary email, do I?adouglasmhor wrote: »Take your own advice then.
By the way spelt is a grain related to wheat, words are spelled in English.
I guess you're correct and the dictionary/newspapers/the BBC are wrong:

Yep, and now my eBay has changed, but PP is still not showing anything..0 -
Yes that's an American spelling, they're wrong and I'm right. Why don't you start another whiny thread about it, you could be the new Student Phil. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Have a look through here & make sure that you've done everything that they say.0 -
Has the buyer opened an INR claim? If so the funds could be on hold until they receive their item & leave + FB. If they opened it in Paypal it would have gone to the email address that you've only just claimed.
You'll need to go to the Resolution Centre & then view open cases.0 -

Yeah, the email is definitely added. I can even log in using it. Perhaps the payment cannot be added retrospectively..?0 -

Well perhaps as it is all your fault you should take the hit and send the person their item and an apology for the delay.
It's not their fault you have difficulties. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

No. No payment = No item.
You need to calm down and understand that mistakes can be made. For example, in 2 unique transactions, I was recently sent the wrong item in each of them. There's no point getting mad about it, though, and calm co-operation with the seller can virtually always sort the matter.0 -
Call Paypal and ask them why the payment isn't showing up.
I presume it is most likely because the buyer attempted to pay to a Paypal account that didn't exists. So they have probably either returned the payment, or put it on hold until you contact them.0
