Dave your post has made me cry, such a lovingly touching post and it really makes me realise what wonderful people are out there.

I know he will be the one who regrets what has happened, although I have no doubt he wouldn't ever admit that. I will move forwards with this smile on my face, sometimes genuine sometimes painted on, but hey only I know the difference. I will not let all of this journey be in vain, I've cried too many tears and had too much heart ache for me not to be happy!

Your warmth in what you wrote is so overwhelming, I feel blessed that strangers in my computer have the empathy for me.
I love that you can joke about your leg, but like you say loose leg or life I know which one I'd choose too.
I smile at men behaving badly nights, I had a girls behaving badly night 2 weeks ago it was fab :) the hangover wasn't but the night was!!

Thank you again Dave, you have made me very humble.

Much love (with pants on our heads)
    Jane xxx
:D Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference. :D

LOL! I think G-string would be more appropriate! Size 10, athlete at the swimming baths, very intellectual and very solvent. I offer my hand in marriage! :)

In fact stuff men anyway, sounds like you're having too much fun at the moment with that busy diary of yours. :D I know I don't need to tell you this as you're at least as intelligent as me (I dare not say that you are better!), take the sucker to the cleaners over the house! The sap deserves that at the very least, have no sympathy for him! Don't for one minute reminisce over the good times, save them for after the divorce.

It's been so enlightening to see the way that you have empowered yourself from the beginning to now getting close to the end of this chapter and I feel that you have likely empowered many other unseen lurkers to do the same. It really has been educational to me even having been through a somewhat different situation myself. Don't finish the chapter by letting him get his own way at the end of this captivating novel! :) That said, I know you won't, you have grown so strong now and little does the poor dipstick know that he actually lit that fire so in the end he actually did you a huge favour. :)

And please do tell us about Mr Right number 2 who will be knocking on your door any day soon so that we can vet him for you. lol Hmmmm, maybe that's a bad idea. I'm definitely becoming an internet voyeur, damn, I must get out more!!!

Have lots of fun Jane, :)
    Dave xx

PS: Have you got a webca....... damn it damn it damn it, must keep taking the tablets.

It's funny, I was thinking about this thread last night and was wondering how TS is getting on now.
  • Just read it from beginning to end! Have been so moved by it, and am in awe of your emotional strength Jane. So sorry it wasn't the outcome you wanted but I hope/know you will be happy xx

Hi Jane - stumbled upon this thread today and it does read like the basis for a very good Joanna Trollope style novel! Seriously, you should consider it as a second career:D

I think you're amazing and too forgiving of your head-up-his-own-!!!!-soon-to-be-ex-OH of yours. If it was me I'm not sure I would have had half the patience and understanding you've been displaying over the last year or so, good for you. It just confirms my belief that men are basically selfish and can't see beyond their own problems, needs and wants - its all me me me. I love my own OH to bits but even his self-asorption can drive me up the wall. But that's what women do best; you can try to bend and break us but we always emerge stronger for the experience.

Stay true to yourself (though you hardly need me to tell you that!) - can't wait for the next instalment!!
