Moneybookers have contacted Urban Beauti, aka White Smile Limited, on my behalf and have given them 5 business days to respond to my complaint. I'll keep you updated.

I'm curious to know what Urban Beauti can actually do in this case.

It's interesting really because I was under the impression that when the goods were despatched you formed a contract with the company, an agreement with them to buy the goods at that price. Since the goods have been despatched they have agreed to that also.

Surely they can't demand more money after this contract has been made. If they are saying the discount codes are the issue then that is a fault with their system. If the voucher codes are invalid then they shouldn't be being accepted!

That's a more articulate version of what I was thinking as well. If the code was incorrect, why did they take my money AND deliver the product?

Refer to 4.1 on their terms and conditions page.

And 4.3 confirms that the title has passed to me. Gosh! This is so annoying.

    Dear Angela Redgrave,

It has come to our attention that you have recently purchased a Smooth Skin Box Set from Urban Beauti using a link posted on Money Saving Expert. As you are fully aware this link was for customers of KGB Deals only. The value of 1p is discounted because customers who purchased a voucher on KGB Deals paid £17 for the product. The link is not to be used by persons who have not purchased a voucher. The voucher code you entered was 'abd'. Please note that it is a criminal offence to obtain goods whilst knowing that you have not paid the full value of the item. If the product is not returned or paid for in full within 7 days we will have no option but to hand over your details to the police.

    Hi Everybody

I also recieved the above email but i have never had the Box Set, anyway after reading the other posts i will ring moneybrookers ASAP. I will also email them telling them to contact the Police, (I like a man in a uniform) lol.

  • Seeing as Urban Beauti are clearly reading this thread i would just like to say that i did not take advantage of this offer however this thread has alerted me to the horrific customer service and threats this company feel is acceptable and i will never ever use your site.

You need to remember that 1,000s of people have read this thread and can now see that you make threats to customers, don't deliver products and steal customers money and refuse refunds! What a great way to promote yourselves!

To everyone that has had the misfortune of dealing with this shabby company please make sure you fight to get every penny back!
