The one that gets me is the amount of landlords that cannot spell tenent.
can you put that into a sentence please, is it derived from tenant/tenancy ?
Seriously it's so unfamiliar to me I am thinking it probably is a real word or some latin word !!Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -

I was looking today at the John Charcol (perhaps the country's biggest mortgage broker) website and was horrified to find them repeatedly writing 'leant' instead of 'lent'!!If you feel my comments are helpful then I'd love it if you 'Thanked' me!0

Latin
[edit]Verb
tenent
third-person plural present active indicative of teneō.
teneō - Wiktionary
present active teneō, present infinitive tenēre, perfect active tenuī, supine tentum. I hold, have; grasp. I possess, occupy, control. ...
Yep sounds like a landlord to me :rotfl:Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -
The whole country is going to the dogs!
I saw an advert on a bus for a taxi company "Needing to get to the airport? We'll get you their."
Shame on the person that wrote it, shame on the company that made up the sign, shame on the bus company for allowing it on their bus, and shame on the driver for taking the bus out that day. I even feel a little bit of shame for not following the bus to the depot and ripping the sign right off the back.
There should be a forum for just such a rant! Sign me up.0
