  • I only have 11 working days until my next holiday. This has to be good. However, as we all know theres always a spanner in the works.

DH was at home yesterday and 2 letters came from the passport office, one for him and one for me. He opened both (thats fine, we do that if the other is at work so things can be addressed on the same day if needed) and there was just his passport and DS passport.

    He dropped me a text.

Luckily, I had the application number with me in my handbag file. (the handbag file is basically a plastic wallet with things shoved in I might need) I used the online enquiry form to ask for an update.

Now bear in mind I did everyones passport applications and organised everyones to be verified and I also took everyone bar DH to sort their photos, and the only issue was my signature was too faint.

I am apparently being sent another form to fill in.AARRGGHH!

Ive had some dark moods, and I cry over nothing, am addressing it and going to the doctors, am putting it down to post natal depression.

I do have a busy lifestyle and I am results driven so I am my own worst enemy will update once I have seen the GP on Friday.

Anyway our travel tickets arrived too yesterday! This is marvellous news. All I need is the passport.

The promised forms didnt arrive yesterday so I am hoping its today, as I will need to return them immediately!

Dh is still ill, and I feel theres a little more pressure on me to take the weight off, but with the washing machine being out of action and my drives to the other house with loads of washing twice an evening, the madness of watching a death defying under 2 and a visit from DD1 and hearing her tale of woe on the house purchase front, I was supportive, but as I said to her its better to be delayed for 2 days than for it to be off altogether.

I sound like a positive influence in her life.
    haha

Still no news on PPI reclaim, and still no news on the tax credits renewal. The normal 18 pounds went in but hey, that will do, better than a poke in the eye.

I am pretty sure I may get more as last year I only earned 6 thousand pounds, due to being on maternity leave.

My ebay has been bid up to 50.67, with 4 and 5 days to go, and I have the stuff I put on turbolister to put on tonight and then if I do anymore I wont be putting it on until the day before I go on holiday, as it can run for ten days a week of which I will be away. Got to get more money to pay the last payment for eurodisney (due November £300)

I will try and iron and start to clean the house, and at the weekend I shall bake and !!!!! out my veggies and pot them on. Love doing that, so therapeutic.

Looking forwards to tomorrow. Dont want to wimp out of the doctors appointment, but a bit afraid they will think I am being silly.

After all, Im in a fairly high powered job, have recently got married, had a baby, have great kids, what have I got to cry about? Lord I am about to have a holiday for the first time in oceans. They will think I am silly.

no tax disc yesterday... hope that comes today.

  • Aww you're having a tough time just now. Doc will probably give you some advice on that.
I had post natal depression and now get terrible PMT. I don't really do the crying thing but my mood gets terrible and I am normally very laid back so it comes as a shock to everyone when I get narked and grumpy. I went to docs a couple months ago and got some low dose prozac and the difference is unbelievable. 2 months down the line and no-one would have a clue that I had PMT as it is completely controlled. I dont care if I need to take them forever so long as I feel this good :D

Its took me ages to admit I have mood swings, and I hate myself for them.

I just need a little help right now. Just to stop me hurting my DH, who bears the brunt...

Glad things have turned round for you, hope they do for me. :)

Smiles are like gold plated cocaine, attractive and addictive.

The man who said that to me, I married.

  • Sorry to hear you are feeling low in mood at the moment, i hope your GP can support & help. I used to get awful PMT and a work colleague ( who did a herbal therapy course ) told me about Agnus Castus capsules. I can honestly tell you they work a treat, they are not a quick fix though (take aprox 3 months to work ) But help with the mood swings and the physical symptoms of PMT.

Do hope you are getting the passport sorted, your holiday will help you relax and feel better :)
