Hi Y'all,
It's been so long since I last posted, or even looked at the Old Style board that most of you regulars probably don't know or care who I am:D

For those of you who do remember me (if your eyesight is still good enough to read this) I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that I've slipped off the Old Style Wagon good and proper and hit a box of Turkey Twizzlers and a Tesco Lasagne on the way down :rotfl:

With Mrs MATH in foreign parts on a long-term contract, only home at the weekends and the three MATHLETTS in a heady whirl of proms, exams, and teenage angst, only maintaining communication through text and Facebook, I decided to go back to work:eek: I say this as if it's news. I've actually been back at work nearly four years. Yikes:eek: I work with profoundly disabled students in a special school and it's the best job I've ever had.

With me working and us living increasingly fragmented lives, I'm ashamed to say meals are not always home cooked and sometimes even labeled and left in the fridge for us all to eat solo:eek: I know, I deserve to be dragged to the Old style scratch post and flogged with an organic leek!! But when I was a stay at home Dad and needed company I remember how friendly this board was and what good friends I made. I hope some of you are still around...If you are:wave:

But only if we could use it after to make a vat of soup and six dinners :D,

Hello nice to 'see' you again :T:T

Just popping by briefly to say :hello: to Math from one oldie to another. :D Glad to hear life is good.x
Keep thinking that DS2 will be soaked on his camping trip in Mull and if it's as windy there they may not even have a tent!!

Also noticed your post Camelot and can tell you that Mull's weather is much the same as yours at the minute but I'm sure they are still having fun. ;)

Still OSing away here merrily and enjoying the garden again.

Hope all is well with everyone. xxx

Have finished painting the dresser :j, but I dont think I like the colour :o, its a bit too dark, looked ok out in the sun, but now its in the house it looks darker :(, will have to wait for OH to come home, to help me lift the top on etc, and will then take some photos, let me know what you think.

If its too dark, we may be able to have a shift round and put it in the conservatory, otherwise I think I may have to paint it again :o

RR, could you paint over it with a glaze to lighten it up & maybe allow a bit of light to reflect off it?

Raspberry leaf tea apparently softens the cervix according to herbology making it easier to dilate etc.....so sounds like the herbal equivalent of a crow bar/WD40.....:D Worth a try I would suggest....

:rotfl::rotfl:

raspberry leaf tea is the devil imo i took it and it flared my spd up i could hardly walk at all for a week, your suppose to build it up tho and start taking it from 34/36 weeks (depends who you talk to) you start with one cup aday and go to 2 then 3 ect

you could try walking up the stairs sideways - i read this on a forum but never tried it, because 1 we live in a bungalow, and 2 like i said above i could hardly walk the 10 steps from my bed to the loo

i have spent the whole day blitzing my house it all looks fab now just need 2 finish off my room really, trying to keep busy because there resurfacing my road and it's a nightmare it's so tempting to go to town but that would cost me money, and to top it off my cars covered in tarmac  if it wasn't for the school run i wouldn't go out at all til there done

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Molly, That is so funny! Have you seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqkFiA3yKiQ&feature=player_embedded.

Thanks for the weather report Haribo, I'm sure they will be having fun though.

Have come to a monumental decision, I am not going to Oz. DD was going to go back for a year but has decided that she would like to settle here for a while and go to college next year. As the main reason for going was to visit her, I can't go to Oz on my own for 3 weeks and can't afford to take her for a holiday (plus she would probably use her job). Now need to look at cancelling flights and telling my pal in Sydney that I wont see her for a while.

Been to A@da and got lots of YS bargains (packs of toms for 10p and punnets of grapes for 10p!). Have a good evening all, Take care. XX
