Hi LA...yes they are beyond words but they will be paying for it...Tiscali are going to sort my compensation out when everything else is sorted..
DD is fine..a little upset as shes been with him 3 years....but it was her that decided on the split as he's a bum...he spends all her money and she ends up paying all the rent and bills and nothing left for herself while he has only been out to work 1 month and gives her money in one hand and takes it away in the other....he's an idiot!!!...shes only 18 now and was so miserable with the world on her shoulders...she just phoned the other day and asked if she could come home...of course I said yes....she says she wants to be single ...have a good time...can't stand him anymore and wants some of her wages for herself....I say well done about time as he's a user!!!!....she has had a few tears(probably because of the 3 years shes wasted with him) but overall is happy...her friends from work have been on the phone a lot to her so thats good...
Enjoy your time with your fiance ...have a great weekend...take care0 -

I could certainly show my appreciation of BT with a B-52 carpet bombing raid.

Hi ZTD....had to laugh at that...lol...
They've certainly made me have some very violent thoughts the last few weeks...but everyone of them is as bad as the other....I can't find a single internet or phone company that doesn't have poor customer service..not at any cost!!!...I'd happily pay more for a company that had a clue what they were doing!!!0 -
LOL @ Z - that did make me laugh.
Taxi - yes I would say your daughter has totally done the right thing.
Good for her getting rid of the layabout sponger (I know that's harsh!) and YES YES YES to being 18 & single and having fun. 18 is way too young to be weighed down by some loser who'd probably take her for granted for the rest of her life.
The world is her oyster now....and back with her lovely Mum too. Brilliant.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Thanks LA...she seems much happier now and I'm in total agreement with you that at 18 she was too young to settle down...you know teenagers though...they always know best...LOL...DH and I are glad to have her home as shes a good girl and no problem at all..
Hope you had a lovely night last night...going to chill out tonight as shes at work until 10.30pm...and shes going to do my eyebrows tonight when she gets home...told you she was lovely...take care0 -
hi taxi
glad your DD is feeling a little better. Think she has done the right thing. She should be out having fun at 18 and enjoying her own money not subsidising some layabout. Good for her.
Bet you will enjoy having her around the house too:D although if she's anything like my DD you will soon be swamped with clothes to wash:rolleyes:

Hi Sophiesmum....thankyou...I do enjoy having her about and as for washing I've trained her well ...she sticks it in herself and will hang any out that's in the washer and unusually for a teenager shes very clean and tidy...so hoovers and polishes sometimes as well...it's nice to have her company and little chats with her...and I'm looking forward to girlie pamper nights!!!....shes a good little bargain hunter as well...so I must've done some things right with her lol...

Just caught up - I seem to have missed your thread over the last few days somehow.
I think you have done an excellent job with DD - you should be very proud of you and her xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
