Hi Sophiesmum...thats great news and at least gives you chance to get sorted...just think all that hustle and bustle of christmas and you can sit down and relax while everybody else runs around like a headless chicken...can't be bad!!!..it'll be here in no time really

Definitely do enjoy it....and please do not try to do too much after the op as I'm feeling the after effects now and am quite tired...don't know whether its the op or stress!!!

Evening everyone,
Just thought I'd pop in though there's not a lot to report!!!!....DD and DH are both out at work so I have some me time and am going to have a nice long soak in the bath later....
I haven't done a lot today...just had a walk and dropped my subs off,popped to a mates cafe...then came home did some washing and cooked tea...so pretty boring day!!!
I have so far got £185 towards an overpayment this month to my Barclays CC but will have £120 i/b to add to it,£140 DHs pension and £150 board off DD...so a pretty sizeable overpayment!!!...I intend to pay this on the 10th of this month the day that they take my minimum payment as if I pay it earlier they don't take my minimmum payment...
I will look into making a egg overpayment later in the month if possible...
I haven't put my tax money away this week yet but will do 2 weeks at the end of this week as tommorrow a lot of big bills come out all the ones from the 1st-3rd sept..then I have a few more up until the 6th...then it's a bit better...so will plod on and try not to go into my O/D ....it's a fine line as I'm not used to following a budget

You'll do it Taxi. Whatever happens you always seem to cope.

I envy you that long relaxing soak. DH is tiling the bathroom and it's out of action for the duration (and knowing the speed he works at I don't expect it to be fully operational until October:eek: ). At least we've got a shower and another toilet:j .

Sorry to tell you it was heaven..I gave myself a full sugar scrub and the soaked in a nice hot bubble bath with Liz Earle orange flower wash...then I gave myself a facial...so feel brand new!!!..
You'll really enjoy it when you have your lovely new tiled bathroom...Have a good week yourself

Not too bad a day at all really - already got a couple of extra shifts to cover holidays so hopefully it will add up to a reasonable amount of extra money by the end of the month. Every little helps!!
