Oh dear - they're treating you appallingly, I hope you do get some compensation for this. Are you keeping a record of everything hon, like these promises of answers & then their failure to call back?

Thanks LA...I've a lot wrote down and a lot in my head at the moment but will write todays episode down as well..I had to go out for a walk tonight as I had a terrible headache..they are making me ill...
I have my mac code and it runs out on 3rd sept and it takes about 10 days to transfer to another company so think I will let it run out and get another one then and go with somebody else...on the other hand should I hang on and wait for compensation as they have been really bad...I don't know what to do...and what firms are good?...my heads spinning with it all...it's a good job I don't live anywhere near their offices as I am having serious thoughts of violence towards them...I feel like they are making me mentally ill..and...I'm not a violent person!!!

I think a lot of companies have their problems.....you could be just days away from getting it all sorted and getting some compo so, hang in there a bit longer.

Get it all written down.....next time you speak to them, tell them you have a written record of it all, tell them they are making you ill with it all now and you may have to seek medical advice...hopefully that'll scare the sh*t out of them as they won't fancy anything complicated like that I wouldn't have thought.

For Chrissakes though....how hard can it be?? Muppets.

Try not to let them really get to you - easier said than done though I know.
Perhaps you need a punch bag set up!

Thanks LA....I'm going to phone them first thing to see whats happening...they could be close to sorting it out...the lady I was dealing with was from high level complaints...the man who promised to phone me back was her boss and he knew I was upset as I was crying on the phone(something I don't normally do)...they phoned me about upgrading I was happy the way I was ...I didn't have any problems before they phoned me on 13th july...thats how long this has been going on..at one point I had no outgoing calls for 2 weeks!!!...they are driving me mad...literally
DH said tell them all to f... off and don't have internet or phone for a couple of months then start again...it's harder if you do that though...isn't it because of mac codes...I don't understand a lot about it really...I don't even know how to change things to a different e-mail address!!

Morning all....hope everyone is ok!!!...well today(I hope it's a better day than yesterday)...I will be going to the bank and getting some shopping only bread and milk and potatoes oh and soap powder...all out of shopping budget.Then I'll pop back put that away and nip to my mates cafe..where I need to pick up some clothes...they are brand new as she only bought them a couple of weeks ago and due to being on lipotrim they are drowning her already...shes done fantastic ...shes lost just under 12 stone in 26 weeks....isn't that great!!!!!...I'm so proud of her....
The worst part of the day will be dealing with Tiscali.....I hate them with a vengeance at the moment...I will be doing that in a minute before I go out...God help me!!!!

I might not be on later so will try to catch up with you tomorrow to see the latest on Tiscali-Gate. I hope you had some better news.

I don't know anything about MAC codes though - maybe someone else will know on the Techi Board...?

Hi LA...I haven't picked the clothes up yet as I've had an emergency DD has split up with boyfriend and has moved back in here...so been sorting her out today!!!
Tiscali are still a pain in the rear ...not much happening there...Talk Talk have managed to close my account(idiots) and knocked my outgoing phonecalls off!!!...I have incoming calls as I'm with BT for line rental...what a good job I reported them to BT yesterday as they were trying to take over my line illegally...so they've cut my calls as well...but didn't tell me!!!!

hope everything is okay with you and your DD. Sorry to hear that you are still having mega trouble with your phone line :mad: :mad: I can't stand dealing with incompetence:mad: :mad: and it looks like you have had more than your share with this lot:rolleyes:

Evening everyone...hope you are all ok...just updated my sig as my loan went out today..so am getting somewhere at last.Sorry I haven't been around much as I've been dealing with DD who has split up with her partner and moved back in here...so have loads of running around with her...she's ok though...gone out with her mates at the moment.
I now have outgoing calls if I put in a prefix number before dialling so better than nothing!!!...got a bill from BT and they charged me £99 for fixing my line last month so have disputed it as they shouldn't charge me that..it's their b....y line!!!...so waiting for them to phone me back.
Spending wise had to buy a new double mattress £50 and lend DD money until pay day but it had to be done.
Apart from that really tired and OH incapacity ballsed up and I've had to sort that out!!!
I'm sure somebody up there is saying...give her plenty of stress!!!!

I don't know what to say about the whole telephone line malarkey...I am beyond words now. Perhaps we could show our feelings for Tiscali, BT & Talk Talk through the medium of dance? *Cue massively violent street moves*

I do hope your DD is OK - splitting up with someone can be so painful so - best wishes to her.

Catch you over the weekend as off to spend some time with fiancé now (and wine & cake! Yum! Diet? What diet? :rotfl:)
