You are so lucky to have such a supportive OH. Would you consider renting him out.....

I know he's lovely and as much as I'd love to get debt free...there are some things a girl just couldn't sell...LOL
Joking aside I had to have a couple of them to get the right one ...I'm so lucky to have him.
Well, let's see what's happened in my world today. Not a lot...I have done 2 wash loads and hung them out...I know I shouldn't but was careful,honest....I had a walk and paid the subs for the taxi and popped into two friends cafes for a natter...came home and rang 3 friends I'd made in hospital to check how they are...then had a lovely roast dinner my darling husband had cooked for me...not a bad day all in all!!
Forgot to say one of the ladies I met in hospital is coming to pick me up this week (on a sunny day) and we are going to go to a cafe and have a catch up..so am looking forward to that!!!
It's nice to get out as I can't get far as not allowed to drive yet and OH works nights so I'm on my own day and night except a couple of hours late afternoon...

    Hi taxi! :hello:

Really good to read you are staying in touch with the ladies you met in hospital and I hope you have a lovely time when you get picked up & taken out.

    How are you feeling?

No I've not *gone*. My enthusiasm just wanes now & then and, well, you know how I feel because you read my diary. I think when it comes to DFW-ness I'm somewhat polarised! When things are up, I am really up and there's no stopping me. But when I come crashing down it's horrible. I get so low.

Finding a happy medium is so difficult for me (no wise cracks from anyone about fortune tellers pur-leeze!).

Anyway enough about me - so glad to hear you are improving every day, that's good. And every day literally does heal you that much more. I know it's not in the same league but when I was 26 I broke my elbow and I couldn't work (I was a temp at the time) so I had to just sit tight and think to myself that my elbow was mending every day just that it more and visualise my body repairing itself.

    I think it helped!

I also used that time to read up about nutrition (borrowed books from library) which was something I was interested in at the time. Is there anything that a a mobile library could bring to you that you would like to learn more about? Could just be for pleasure, doesn't have to be for business.

This would be the ideal time to do it.

Glad to see you about...we don't have a mobile library but will be able to drive in 3 weeks ...so willl be going then..as I do like to read...I have slipped and bought a few magazines as the shop is only on the corner...but think I'm out of that now as I can now sit at the computer longer now....so that helps on the moneysaving front....and...just you remember you have done brilliantly so far....and...we can't always do things as quick as we want but we will get there in the end

Good evening Taxi, good luck with the Barclaycard application. I tried applying for an M&S card a few weeks back but was rejected. We have no CCJs or defaults etc so I am assuming it is because we have a high level of debt. It is most infuriating, because currently our average APR is about 20% and we can't do anything about it other than try and pay things off and get rid of them

Anyway, enough of my moaning, I am really glad that you are able to get out and about a bit now. Just keep away from those shops.....

0% for 14 months would be fab. It would make a really noticeable difference if you could still make the same monthly payments. Good luck!
