Well done taxi! That card & the overdraft are coming down bit by bit and it really won't be too long before you can wave them goodbye.
Isn't it great when you get under a "milestone" as you have done today with the OD? My next one is under £1000 for my OD (but things are conspiring against me at the moment to keep delaying this goal!).
Keep up the great work!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hi La...I know exactly how you feel....theres always something that crops up to delay us...but we will get there in the end ...just remember how far you've come...you've got rid of those credit cards...thats a fantastic achievement on it's own...what's killing me is OH won't let me go to work at the moment as he wants me to be well when I go in the hospital also the car is off the road from next monday as it has to have it's re-spray..0

Hi everyone...sorry I haven't been about but my computer has been in the shop getting fixed and only got it back today...the car is in the garage being sprayed at the moment so will be there for a couple of days....the DD payment for the CC came out today so that's a little lower...and the OD has reduced a little at least for the next couple of days...lol....will have the CC under £1,500 by next month hopefully...hope everyone is doing fine..0

Hi Taxi
Not been on the site for a couple of weeks, so catching up a bit now.
Your OH is right in what he says, the stronger you are when you go in for the op, the quicker you will recover.
Good news that you are still reducing the debts, way to go...Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi LA...nice to hear from you...hope you are well...he's doing great with the new firm but myself I haven't been out as he doesn't want me to pick up loads of bugs and stuff and he wants me to be as fit as possible when going into hospital....it's only 2 weeks away...eeeekkkkkkk....my flus gone at last and on friday just gone I had my pre-admission examination....my OH is taking twice as much on this new firm than he was on the old one...I believe we can get through this but we wouldn't have been able to if we'd stayed on the other firm...though this illness will slow df date we will get there....and my health is more important at the end of the day...I was feeling guilty but not any longer...
going to nip and read your diary now....and see what you've been upto while I've been away...0 -
Oh your hubby sounds so lovely & considerate!
I am so glad your flu has gone now and it was good to read that work is better through the new firm.
You are quite right, health always comes first. You have a debt free date that is the main thing.
If it's been moved back a bit...then so be it. You'll get there...enjoy the view along the wayBank Balance: In the black for the moment.

I'm fine thanks Taxi, any news about the holiday complaint yet?
Really pleased that the move to the new firm is paying off, it's a worrying time when you make a change like that.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi my friends....you are right my hubby is considerate...he worships the ground I walk on...not many people can say that can they?...I'm really lucky to have him...I'll tell the truth I've never worked out a Df date but it must be behind as I wasn't going to have any time off and now I've got to have 4 months off....I was trying to have no debt except loans and mortgage by this time next year...it's sort of a df date...lol....the only thing I've heard from the holiday is that they need to reply to me by next week...so I know nothing yet but will share my news with you when I get it!!!..0
