Evening taxi.
I feel for you with the chest infection & the asthma.
I also suffer a bit with asthma - it's not bad at all, I only need my inhaler a few times a year but when I get a cold, I dread it going to my chest as it's so uncomfortable and downright bloody annoying! Coughs take ages to shift!
I find that exercise really helps, it seems to build up your lungs naturally.
Have you still quit smoking? I read somewhere that it is quite common for people who have quit smoking recently to develop chest problems, something about all that tar etc clearing away and leaving things a bit more sensitive. But it gets better so keep on quitting!
Wow, 14th APRIL that *is* quick. But the sooner you have it, the sooner you'll be back on your feet and can get on with the year.
How do you feel about it being so soon?
Well done on getting all those clothes for £18 - good result! :TBank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Gosh, that is quick for your op, but, better than having to sit and wait for 12 months.

Hi there ...yes I've still stopped smoking....my asthmas the same as yours usually get it when I've got a cold...it was a shock being soon but at least I'll not be worrying as long now and can plan around it now...the sooner it's done the better...debt-busting will have to take longer....can't fault the service...see the consultant and a month later get the op...pity it took him years to agree to me having it!!!....at least my nerves are calmer than this morning I was shaking like a leaf and really wanted a cig but didn't give in....0

Hi all ...hope you are all ok...just popped in to update my sig as I paid £80 off the halifax the other day..it'll be a little less end of month as the min payment comes out of the bank on the 27th so that's another £36 odd....the OD is hovering about the same so nothing much happening there....hope everyone is wrapped up well as it's blowing a gale here0

Hi taxi
Well done on shaving more off those debts! :T Am just sorting myself out after a week ill and a week of furious matched betting to try to catch up but the upshot is that I think by the time all my withdrawals from bookies etc. hit the bank (probably Wed) we should be about £300 in the black - and its pay day on Friday! So for the first time will hopefully be finishing a month in credit at the bank (say hopefully because I know there are a couple of cheques outstanding - OH got a speeding ticket  - and we had to kennel the dogs when we were both ill). Will see what the situation is on Friday but will pay whatever we are over off the mint card.
Keep up the good work. What is the latest on the holiday claim?0 -
Blimey - just been catching up with the last few weeks of your diary - you've been in the wars haven't you? Glad to hear you have a quick appointment for your op - the sooner the better then you will be able to get on with life feeling much more well in yourself. Good luck with it all hon - and don't push yourself too much. Nothing is worth risking your health!0

Stay strong Taxi. Someone once told me that "tough times never last, tough people do" so remember, the next few months may be tough one way or another, but you are tougher, and will get through them.
