Hi everyone...sorry I've not been around for a couple of days but on top of everything else I've had flu!!!....I've had the radio fitted but it isn't working properly so will sort that on monday after I've been to the welders...if it's at the welders too long monday will sort it tuesday...then we will be ready to start....I don't think what he did is legal but will fight that another time....I've spent 3 days running around like a loony and am going to try and take it easy until monday...I need to put the stickers on the car yet....the re-spray is booked for 26th march...so hopefully will have made some money to pay for it by then...it's all tax deductable anyway...

Awww poor you. There's so much cold & flu stuff going around at the moment I suppose it's inevitable we're all going to get it at some point.

I hope you are up & running this week then and the new firm brings you much success.

Thanks LA....it will all work out in the end...I hope you're flu is better now...we will definitely be running this week either monday or tuesday...though more likely to be tuesday...as when the person let go of the door when it was windy it not only snapped a holding strap but left a hole inside so a new one can't be fitted until it's had a plate welded...so it's booked in monday but I guess it will take most of the day ...so I can't book the radio man for the same day...they are around the corner from one another so while he's welding I'll nip and see the radio man...maybe he'll be able to fit me in failing that it'll be tuesday...we'll work what would've been our day off so that'll bring a bit extra in....it's all so frustrating...oh well...it can't get any worse...can it?

Flippin' heck Taxi, things aren't improving are they.

As you say, it can't get any worse.

Just think, in a few months, you'll look back at this diary and laugh at what happened.....fingers crossed.

Hi whatatwit....I have to laugh or else I'll cry!!!....I'll be laughing all the way to the bank as that director will be sat there scratching his a..e!!! and wondering where his drivers have all gone.....it will probably be funny in the end...I haven't noticed the baskets outside the shop but there again I haven't driven past there..I will have a look when I pass....I'm thankful I brought money back from holiday as at the moment I'm using that for some of the set up costs....my extra on the CC can wait as this is more important...heres hoping I can sort everything for monday

Hi my friends and how are you all doing...hope you are all well....sorry I've not been about but have been running around like a headless chicken....good news...we are up and running at last ....hubbby is taking good earnings...I'm struggling to find work but found some today so that's an improvement...once I work out which areas work I'll be earning plenty...still got the flu...but will just have to plod on....not a lot else to report...got an appointment at the hospital tommorrow and that's about it for now....

Flamin' Nora, I can't believe that about the holding strap & hole in the door :eek: - gutted for you. I really hope you feel much better soon and can establish your area for work and pull in some decent earnings.

You really deserve a break - and soon! I'm keeping you in my thoughts, and hope things get better soon. But at least that's good news about your hubby bringing in good earnings! :T

Hi everyone when will it ever end...I had to go to the emergency doctors ladt night as I had an asthma attack...I had a nebuliser and have to take 8 steroids every morning and a double dose of anti-biotics for 5 days....that'll teach me for trying to struggle on...so have had today off and will be off tommorrow....I went to hospital today and will be having a partial hysterectomy...he can't do everything as I'm too fat...the waiting list is only about 3 months so I won't be waiting long...it's the 3 months off after that's the problem!!!...I'm so glad that we've learnt to live frugally as that's really going to help us.....luckily OH is earning on this firm more than we were put together on the other...so if I work really hard I could probably pull quite a bit to pay off the bills...I will have to take it as it comes....no point in worrying...I'm going to try and lose some weight before the op and perhaps this will help...I need to lose 6 stones to be my ideal weight but if I could lose 2 that may help...if that's possible in 3 months...will have to try really hard...it's a shock that it'll only be 3 months...they said I'd hear very shortly...

Hi everyone...I'm feeling a little better today but darling hubby has ordered that I don't go back to work until monday so am forced to have another couple of days off...he says there's no point in making myself ill...bless him...I had a result today as I had to pop in the office to pick up some till rolls for the credit card machine and the boss was in...I told him Joe was doing great but I was doing rubbish so he kindly tol;d me what areas to work...so that will help on monday...as I need to make as much as possible in the next 3 months.....not a lot of moneysaving going on here at the moment but will get there soon...but not missing any payments either...so that's good....not a lot to report today....nearly forgot First Choice phoned to say that they'd received a letter from Airtours saying that they'd received my complaint..she's going to forward me a copy...so the balls rolling on that one...
