Hi everyone...hope we are all well!!!...not a lot to report here...but...I have been to work...so that's one thing...at least...I will have to update my sig when I get time to check everything I owe....no moneysaving going on here yet ....well the usual ....my last gym payment comes out on the 1st march so that will be £46 p/m towards debt....also need to cancel DD to british gas or else I'll be paying double!!!...as I changed energy suppliers....and they take over on the 28th....I need to make a new budget soon as well to see what I'm paying to who....it's like starting again....so will face that in the next few days!!!....the OD is a bit of a downer...I know I've to accept it but it's still annoying...it'll be up and down like a yoyo the next couple of months until the season kicks in....but my no smoking money is still going to be seperate and pay my credit card off...so at least I'll see progress there!!!...RANT over sorry guys...0

Hi Taxi,
Good to see you back safe and sound from the holiday from hell!
I take it you are feeling a bit better, must be if you have gone back to work, but go easy, or you will be back poorly again.
Well done on coming home with a sizeable chunk of money, it will take a week or two to get back into your routine and check up on all the outgoings.
Keep at it girl.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi Taxi - i just found your thread after seeing your name appear in another diary!! have read first few pages and last few so far - am really sorry about your holiday - how disappointing and annoying - good luck with complaint
and also from the little bit i've read you sound a determind person so don't let the o/d get you down - i'm sure you'll make a real dent in it soon - i will look forward to seeing how you do, good luck0 -
Hi everyone..and...thankyou for your wonderful thoughtful words of support...it's been one of those days today (again)...didn't manage to get to work as the car felt funny...to cut a long story short...it ended up costing £99...ah well!!!...I've up-dated my sig so that's over and done with...and I've also cancelled the DD to British gas....just the gym one to cancel as soon as the payment goes out on the 1st...not looked at the budget yet though...I can't face that just yet!!!...maybe in a couple of days!!
I've bought plenty of shopping and this should keep us going for a couple of months with only bread to buy...also I should have a sizeable chunk saved towards paying the halifax credit card off by the next bill...so will make progress there...it's a start...not a lot to report today...hope everyone else is doing good...0 -
Oh well, there's always another day for work
Did you ever manage to empty the freezers?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi whatatwit....nearly did empty them as it happens....so I've just re-stocked them since I came back but used cash so as not to run up anymore on the OD...I'll be back at work tommorrow anyway...them freezers lasted for months and really helped me tackle the debt..thankfully!!!
I see you've lost another 1/2 lb well done...keep it up!!!...nearly a stone now...that's great!!0 -
Thanks Taxi for the encouragement.
I'm hoping to be able to sell some clothes on E-bay soon. :rotfl:
I try and use cash also, it doesn't feel like I'm spending when I use my debit card.
Your freezer will soon be full again, this time with the yellow stickered items if it's anything like mine.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi everyone:hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: ...hope you are all well...well I got to work today but it was really quiet so didn't take as much as I would've liked but every little helps...so they say....Well I've been a busy bee since coming home....I've been doing the washing and I've also done a budget...I'm quite pleased with myself;)
I need £700 p/w to cover all the business expenses and household bills including both loans...this is achievable even on a poor winter week...so am pleased about that within this budget I've allowed £40 p/w tax...£30 p/w taxi insurance...£150 p/w diesel and £100 p/w car maintainence costs and £70 p/w for shopping as well as all DDs....hopefully I won't spend that amount on shopping or maintainence of the car...the surplus can help clear debts...
This then leaves the credit cards and sofa and the Od to clear...OH has a sickness pension from a previous job(we usually pay for a holiday out of this)..but...he said I can use it to clear debt...it's only £140 p/m but it helps along with my no smoking money I'll have rid of that halifax one in no time...so i'M FEELING A BIT MORE POSITIVE TODAY....we are thinking of changing taxi companies at the moment...but really can't make our minds up...so it's up and down at the moment...well not a lot to report again but writing it all down helps me to think ...so sorry if I've bored anyone...:p0 -
Hi taxi
