just popping in....nothing to report...I'm going to see another taxi firm in the morning about putting the taxi on there...just feeling a bit nervous at the moment and stressed out...
  • Hi taxi. FINALLY I have managed to catch up with your diary! I have been only looking at the pc in small doses as my eyes have been streaming with this cold so, it's all taken a bit of time!

Well, firstly I would like to tell you off! :naughty:

Please stop saying "Sorry if I have bored anyone..." when you write down your thoughts and steps/achievements/worries etc on your own thread!
If we were bored we wouldn't be here ;)

You write down what you want my lovely and don't worry about us lot - ok? OK!

Secondly, it sounds like you have some steps in place to get back on track quite quickly so give yourself a big pat on the back.

Thirdly, how long do you think you will have to wait before you hear anything about the holiday and any recompense or the like?

And fourthly (phew!) GOOD LUCK with seeing the other taxi firm. Give 'em a winning smile ;) and let us know how it went.

Hi La...and scaredy cat......thanks for your lovely replies....I hope your cold gets better soon...on the holiday front they have 28 days to respond before I can take the next form of action...thanks for the luck with the other firm...I don't think they'll be a problem ...I think it's the one I'm with now that will be the problem as they've had a few taxis leave recently and I've heard some of the crap they've give those owners...still we all have to face these situations sometimes...will let you know what I've decided tommorrow night...90 % of me says go for it...the other 10% I'm holding back for some reason...thanks for the encouraging words...

Hi all...well I've been really busy today running around...we went to the other taxi firm this morning and have decided to join there as the earnings are a lot more...then spent the rest of the day running around doing paperwork....the final hurdle is to tell the other firm we are leaving a week on monday....they'll probably be very childish about it but I will have to grin and bear it...I suppose...I'm so drained today...that's it for now...going to write the dreaded leaving letter now....

Hi Taxi, you have had a busy week.

Well done on sorting out the budget, I still haven't done mine. :o

I hope all goes well with your move....I hope you won't have to re-spray the car. :rotfl:

Hi whatatwit.....it just gets worse...I wrote the letter and took 11 days subs to the office....everything was ok when I left as the secretary had spoke to the director and he seemed to accept it....well I got home and about 7.30pm he phoned me and said if I didn't pay a whole months subs I'd better not come to work again...no wonder everybody is leaving with that attitude...so I said ok and I'll pick my cheque up tommorrow that I'd given him today...I do have to re-spray the car but have a month to do it...but people seem to be earning the money on there...so will easily manage it...if I stay where I am I'll end up bankrupt....I feel I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson today...tommorrows another day...so I will see if I can get on earlier maybe this monday instead ....we'll have to see

Oh Taxi, things never go to plan do they.

But, I suppose at least as you have a tight rein on your outgoings and have managed to get some stuff onto 0%, you were able to call his bluff. Well done :T
And, as you are both willing to get out there and work, it will pay off in the long run.

I've been back making butties today, I'm there tomorrow and Monday as well.

Have you seen the lovely planters outside the shop?
I'm sure the council have got money to burn.
One planter is growing beer cans and the others only have half the plant left. Top money saving tip there, if you need a few plants for the garder. :rotfl:

    Hi taxi.

Blimey is that legal what the guy has done? I know nothing of the taxiing business so, maybe it is but it seems terrible.

    I'm so sorry.

All you can do is look ahead to a few months time when he'll be a distant (if unpleasant) memory.

What a git. I hope he runs out of toilet roll tomorrow morning after a large curry.
