Kelkoo - you can only do one search per day at 10p per search but that's £3.10 a month, based on a 31 day month of course.
The High Street Web - you can only do two searches @ 8p each so, 16p a day so that's £4.96 per month!
£8.06 each month for searches? I'm having me some of that
thanks - must try that! Will get OH to do it too - that'll be £16.12 a month!0 -
Not a lot to report today...cancelled papers today so another£121.68 p/y saved...I've had another NSD today and haven't been to work today as didn't feel too good..
Got a load of washing done and nearly all the packing is done now..got a fair bit of cleaning and tidying to get done before we go ..so will spend an hour a day doing that and the paperwork!!!
I doubt there'll be any progress on the debt-busting now until I get back...but I'm quite happy so far with what I've done...I guess I'll come back to an overdraft but am not going to worry about that...as being SE there's no income to come in while we're away but originally I'd have come back to about £4000 overdraft..with the tax and all bills going out...but I estimate it to be about £1000 when I get back but that's because £460 subs will go out as well as all monthly bills and loans and credit cards...I'll not be using the cards while away as I have the cash ready
The taxi has it's MOT on the 15th...that can put a spanner in the works if it needs anything doing...so i'm keeping my fingers crossed0 -
Hi everyone...I'm fed up...still waiting for the gas man...to come and fix boiler ...I'm freezing...but at least I'm saving gas!!...got to wait in all day tuesday as well as microwave(6) weeks old broke down yesterday:mad:   never going to get any work done this week:eek: :eek:0
-
Oh dear, I hope the boiler man turns up soon. And sorry to hear you have to stay in all day on Tuesday as well.
Maybe you can do lots of running on the spot & dancing around to keep warm in the meantime, it'll help with the weight loss too!(I only suggest it cos it's what I do, teehee!)
Also, trying to be positive for you, console yourself that it's early January and Tuesday may be really quiet out there anyway so you are saving yourself in petrol and vehicle depreciation by staying at home........it could have been worse, thankfully the microwave person won't be coming to see you at a busy time of year or week.
Just trying to boost you hon!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Phoned back and spoke to supervisor...they are sending someone tonight and sending £20 compensation...not happy with that amount they only spoke to me when I told them that I would be going to trading standards as they are in breach of their contract ...I have the 400 plan and when I got the booklet out it said I should have an electrical inspection and a plumbing and drains inspection every 2 years...I've had this contract 4 years and they haven't done one at all..so they've had to book those in....amazing they will only talk to you when you are going to trading standards !!!...they're in the wrong not me:mad:  :mad:0

Hi Taxi....I tried to bring the sun back with me, but it didn't want to get on the plane.
What miserable weather I have returned to.
You have really ploughed on with the debtbusting over Christmas, I've just caught up on your progress.
Is the family recovered from the accident, what a shock that must have been.
6 stone sounds like a challenge, are you planning on piling on the weight in Goa?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

The family are fine now...JJ had his birthday on the 3rd....he was the only one that wasn't injured...the others had some bruising and whiplash but are fine now..thanks for asking
I'll probably have 7 stone to lose by the time I get back from Goa..:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ...I've not started on my diet ...as it's pretty pointless until I get back...I'll probably lose weight when I'm out there as I don't eat much when it's hot..lol
