Glad everyone is ok after the accident, everyone will feel better after a cuppa and a hot bath so the shock wears off a bit. :grouphug:
I missed where you are going on holiday, or are you worried if you tell the paparazzi will follow you and spoil the holiday making you pose for pictures the whole time? :rotfl:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 234 Proud to be dealing with my debts I love the Dave Ramsey podcasts. Thanks for that bobbie...we're off to goa on the 18th jan for a month ...it's only a month because we're celebrating my husbands 50th and it's also my birthday while we're out there...it will be nice to destress for a while.
Yes everyones fine ...little man thought it was all a game once he'd stopped screaming...and his mummy and daddy were more worried about him than theirselves....the cab driver is badly shaken as well and both cars are a write off...the police will sort it out...but it was a young driver that crashed into the back of the cab they were in at 70mph on a 50mph road...it shunted them a long way but luckily the cab driver managed to keep control of the vehicle...the driver that hit them got into another car and left the scene and the passenger got into the drivers seat before the police arrived...  :mad:0 -
Pleased to hear everyone is ok, so many accidents this time of year
Sounds like something suspicious if he's doen a runner doesn't it. Goa sounds fab, any room in the suitcase ?
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi everyone:j :j :j well that's another year nearly over:T :T and a new one beginning:D
as I had my LB moment rather late in the year I have done plenty to get the ball rolling...so I'm proud of that:T :T
But 2007...is going to be my year to tackle my debts for the final time!!!:j :j
I am going to clear £9328.50:pplus have my tax money saved ready for January next year:D
When I've managed that I am going to tackle the bank loans...wow if I can do that...I'd be ecstatic:A :A :A
Ideally I'd like rid of all my unsecured debt before march 2008!!!...this would be a really big challenge and am not sure if I can achieve this but am going to have a good go:o
I WANT TO WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR
AND
THAT YOU ALL ACHIEVE WHAT YOU WANT!!!!0 -

Hi all fellow DFWs:hello: :hello: hope you are all well:D
and ready to face the new year:cool:
I'm in a positive mood today...new year and everything:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: my family dropped the money off for the chain and the table...my OH has his £600 for him ...he's put that towards his holiday spends...it was kind of him to give me the other £600...he said I should use it to treat myself..his present to me...I am going to try my holiday clothes on tommorrow and if they fit I will pay the whole of the money off the debts...if they don't fit I will have to buy a couple of bits but will be very careful and not spend much...maybe £100...I hope my clothes fit!!
I then had another £80 they owed me...so have given the other daughter her £50 to look after the dog...leaving me £630...I hope my clothes fit as that would be a lovely amount off the debt this month:p
I'm also happy as my darling husband worked really hard last night and took nearly £300 and I was just short of £100 today...so that's a good start to the year...:j :j :j :j such a pity the take was bad the last few days but def not to be sniffed at:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: We've got about 2 weeks to work before we go away as I need to put the taxi in for it's MOT a couple of days before we go away...it will probably be very quiet on the cab as nobody has any money at this time of year...ideally if I could bank another £1000 after this weeks money(weds)....I may not end up in my overdraft when I come back ...which would be a massive achievement!!!
I hope you've all enjoyed your christmas and new year and all the best for 20070
