Well I think I'm on a roll today:j :j :j :j :j
after ordering those sim cards.....I phoned O2..to arrange to cancel my contract...the man was great...I was really going to cancel as I lowered my tarriff last year to 100 mins and 200 text p/m...£10.50 1/2 price but this had the opposite effect:eek:    all my bills ended up being £30-£60p/m:eek:
Well what a deal...he gave me 400 mins and 200 texts p/m as well as a brand new samsung e900(whatever one of those is)...for £17.50 p/m for the whole year...how can a girl resist:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Not only will I have 4 sim cards to sell and a mobile phone...I'll save loads of money into the bargain...so now I'll have more to chuck at the debt:j :j :j :j0 -
Well would you look at all this progress.
I'll have some of whatever you are on please...!

Thanks for that and there was me thinking...I wasn't going to achieve anything in January!!...I'm going to use quidco(thanks) but am going to change when I get back from my holiday as they'll want meter readings etc..and being away all that time ..theyll think I'm ignoring them!!!...LOL
Your sigs looking good by the way...you're really getting there...you'll not be long now!!0 -
That's it...I've done it:j :j That British gas have done my head in completely tonight...can they not do anything right?   I changed to paperless billing and on to their click energy plan months ago and it's still not sorted out:eek:   I'm sick of phoning them:mad:
After yet another fruitless phone call tonight ...I have used energyline(the one Martin uses)...I get £15 cashback as well and I swapped to Scottish Power online 2 it's £115 p/y cheaper...and says they've got good customer service but let's face it ...they can't be any worse than Bg or can they?...and their prices are cheaper if I'm going to get crap service then I'd rather pay less for it:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Good move taxi - no point in paying for poor service. And well done on all your progress - only 5 days into january and you are racing! At this rate you'll be needing that holiday... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

HI Mizmir and all...
Nothing achieved today...went to work and it was dead so came home at 2.30pm as couldn't stand it any longer!!..so didn't earn much
I didn't have breakfast before I went out or take anything for lunch so spent £2.40 on a sandwich and soup...so that's my total spends for today!!!
I've nearly finished my packing and have made a start on hubbys...these next 13 days are going to drag!!!...I definitely need this holiday...LOL
Sorry not a lot to report today but you never know I may have a brain wave later.
I'm looking forward to having my hair done next week...that'll be a nice treat as I haven't had it done for ages..it's budgeted for out of my money I've got left...which I haven't spent any of(unusual for me)0 -
Hi taxi. Well done on doing the gas supplier swap thing. I am sure you will get a phone call from British Gas asking why you are leaving ( I did when I switched), make sure you tell them it's because of their appalling customer service....they *have* to know!
Have you done any searches on QuidCo today via Kelkoo & The High Street Web? That would be something for the day even if only a few pennies, it all adds up when you get that monthly pay out from QuidCoBank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hey Taxi, You're really on a roll. Hope the injections the other day didn't hurt too much, they alone should be enough to justify getting your hair done surely due to pain an suffering :rotfl:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 234 Proud to be dealing with my debts I love the Dave Ramsey podcasts. Hi LA and Bobbie....
La I told british gas on the phone last night I was going to change as they are crap...and I'll have great pleasure in telling them when they phone as well ...I haven't done those quidco things as I didn't think they were worth it but like you say they mount up ...so will do that after thanks
Bobbie had to laugh at that one...luckily they didn't hurt..lol0 -
Yes taxi definitely worth it.
Kelkoo - you can only do one search per day at 10p per search but that's £3.10 a month, based on a 31 day month of course.
The High Street Web - you can only do two searches @ 8p each so, 16p a day so that's £4.96 per month!
£8.06 each month for searches? I'm having me some of thatBank Balance: In the black for the moment.
