Afternoon all..hope everyone is well!!!...I've had a lovely day today...have just updated my sig as my min payment went out this morning to egg and I've put the £40 away for the holiday....
I had a nice lie in until 8.40am...then had a facial and shower and felt brand new...had a couple of brews then walked into town with DH.....passed the Tchibo shop and remembered something about having ski stuff cheap...DH needed a new pair of gloves and as I usually buy these at the Alpine Centre they usually cost me about £30...they had some for a bargain price of £4.50 and he liked them...so he's happy...they also had some very good quality underpants for £2.50 for a pack of 3..so bought him 2 packs to replace some of his old ones...wait for this bargain of the day....DH spotted a lovely ski jacket for me...nice quality and it's got a detachable jacket inside and teflon coated etc etc...lovely pale blue and white....it's also got a zip that you can open from the bottom when sat in the car so makes it comfy to drive...there was no price on the box or the shelf..so we asked.....£16...WOW what a bargain so we bought it...
Then we went and picked our new glasses up and went for lunch and sauntered around the shops....didn't spend any more money....and walked back home....
I've sorted the post,washed up and have now got my 2nd lot of washing in...DH has nipped to the pub for a game of snooker and I'm chilling for an hour or two...so all in all a good day...

Hi taxi, that sounds like a lovely day and it isn't over yet.

Good tip about Tchibo, my older DDs need warm gloves for their paper round so I'll have a look in Tchibo. I will have to avert my eyes from the ski jackets though as I have a perfectly good coat, only six years old, I don't need another!

HI Seax...everything was really cheap in there...they had loads of other stuff at less than half price as well..but was really good and didn't spend loads...and it was cash as I'd left all my cards in my work bag as I use my debit card to bank everyday and my credit card for the fuel...so couldn't have been naughty anyway...don't know what we'll be doing the rest of the day...I'm just getting all the washing and drying done..that's enough for me...can't have a drink as driving first thing in the morning...

Hi everyone..hope you're all ok...just a mediocre day today..nothing special....just been to work and done the hoovering downstairs and the washing...that's it...work was busy up until 10am then really quiet so was back in the house at 1pm...so nothing to report...

Evening everyone...it's quiet on here....not a lot to report again!!!...just the usual sort of day ....it's been pouring down and blowing a gale here today all day so wasn't as busy on the cab today but it will be busy tonight...I guess...I'm so bored today...I've got loads of housework I could be doing but can't be bothered..so will just chill out for a few hours...it's DDs birthday today so she's out tonight having a meal and clubbing with her mates...DH is at work ..so just me and the dog again!!!

Hi sea...just worked today but had a really busy day so am really pleased...I did relax last night just read through loads of threads on here...so didn't do much at all...nothing nice planned for today either...

HI Everyone..just popped in to update my sig...nothing interesting just another £100 added to the tax fund....I'm so happy that I will be in a good position to pay it next year...
Had a decent day at work today and have done the banking and had to go to vauxhall today as my headlight had gone..usually when I go in there they cost me about £12 but they did it for free...go vauxhall....don't honestly know how much one is for the Vectra but they are £12 for the Zafira!!!...as it's the first one we've needed I needed them to put it in as I didn't know how to do it...so great that it was free...very MSE!!!
Will update my sig again tomorrow as one of my loans is due out...apart from that not much happening...am also pleased as I'm building up quite a bit of money over the whole of the bank accounts ...so quite a positive day all in all...take care xx
