Taxi, it's not MSE to go with the cheapest company if their service is rubbish. Far better to pay a little bit more and know that you have good service. Don't think twice - ditch 'em.

Def agree with Seaxwyn about it not being MSE if the cheapest is rubbish!!
Have you run the test thingy? (I know nothing about that kind of stuff!)

Thanks you2...it's frightening leaving them but it needs to be done...I'm not techie either but have done 3 speed tests today..including after they had supposedly updated the speed...I've to do another one in the morning before she phones but I've told her that I'll probably be leaving and I want out of the new 12 month contract as they are not delivering what's promised..she had a word with her boss to say that I could get out of it but I don't trust them so am going to get her to send me an e-mail confirming it ..then I can print it off if I have to go to ofcom or anywhere else...I will [print it off straightaway as I may not be able to retrieve it with no internet...5 years I have been with these people!!!!0

Morning everyone...hope everyone is well...it's my day off and I'm up already!!!...DH decided to get up early....hence woke me up...
Just popped in to update sig..just put my £40 away for holiday...done my pigsback and checked quidco...the AA has tracked eventually after months....not received yet so will probably be ages yet but the other ones are received so should get them this month..
Done the speedtest and it's still really low and that was at 6am when not too many use the internet...so will ask her today how to change supplier and get her to send me an e-mail to confirm that I'm getting out of the contract...
Off out after to go shopping in Preston as I have a £10 voucher for Toy R Us that needs to be used today...so will get little man something and put it away for next year as he has loads already for this year...
Have a good day everyone xx0 -

Hello everyone...well I've done it at last...I will be with BT for my line rental, calls and broadband from the 14th december...thats when they take over and switch it over and thats the day the equipment arrives but being technically challenged I've booked an engineer to call on the 17th to set it all up!!!...so will be gone from Tiscali....I have my new e-mail address and will keep my same phone number...
The high level complaints person didn't phone me this morning as promised so I sent her an e-mail and asked for her to put in writing what she'd agreed yesterday regarding the contract which to her credit she did straight away and quite a few e-mails were sent to and fro...I've printed them if I need them and asked to make sure my bill is right she is going to follow it through and double check the bill before I receive it as there's a mistake at the moment on the bill.....she has been ok today..
I got something reduced from £30 to £15 in Toys R Us with the voucher so only had to use £5 0f my own money and my youngest daughter is going to give me the £15 and it's her present to JJ..so that can go off the bills...
My BT vision box will be here in 19 days so hope everything goes smoothly if not you all know that I'll be lost in cyberspace somewhere...
Apart from that nothing else happening except I'm picking DD up in a minute then going to get the shopping..so will be away for a while..0 -

HI Sea..no nothing nice planned..just work and MSE of course...it was food shopping..I normally only buy un-processed food and no sweets biscuits etc..she being 19 doesn't like her food too healthy and wanted some ready meals and crisps, chocolate and other junk...she works at a gym and works very strange hours any times between 6am and 11pm and her dad was making her a tea everyday but many days it didn't get ate...so shw wanted to come shopping and she can see to herself...
She has a lot of stuff in now anyway..then of course I needed to buy our stuff as well...
I have no intention of stepping foot inside another supermarket until after christmas I have 2 freezers full, all the cupboards full and the fridge...I do not wish to Q with loads of mad shoppers...
Hope you have a good weekend..take care xx0 -
Hi taxi
Lucky you being able to avoid supermarkets til Christmas. I wish I could say the same but I am hopeless at meal planning and only have a tiny freezer.
Hope you have a nice weekend, in between working of course.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
